Hey again, it's been awhile. I was websurfing and came across your video again and watched it. There's a few more things as there's much more information now and there's some that I didn't mention before. So when it comes to the "Omnipotent One" or the Original Bahamut, he was split in half into two Gods like you said. But the two didn't have anything against eachother at all, but rather the two was seeking to become one again. The two gods created vessels to contain Astral Power and a Primal Beast's pre-primal state. That was Vyrn for the Astral Power and Lyria for Primal Beasts. Once the "containers" are full, the two will end up being absorbed along with everything else. This information is in the Main Story of Chapter 129 by an Otherworlder Envoy. The Otherworlders are said to be the original inhabitants of the world before Bahamut was split that apparently seek revenge against them for vague reasons not yet expanded upon. When the two Bahamuts were split as well, the Astral version of Bahamut was sent out of the Sky Realm and ended up creating an unchanging world called the Astral Realm and the Sky Bahamut was pushed somewhere either at the end of the skies or somewhere in the Crimson Horizon. A big reason as to why the Skydwellers had the advantage over the Astrals was not just numbers, but because they could change things up and the Astrals could not alongside their creations, the Primal Beasts. Not all Primal Beasts were locked in Pandemonium, there were several more outside of it and being used in The War after the Astrals found themselves losing on their own in an attempt to resubjugate the Skydwellers. Somewhat recently, the 8th Anniversary event covered the events of what happened during The War. It's due to their own creations that they end up ultimately losing The War, as well as some Astrals that defected to the side of the Skydwellers.
Thanks so much for commenting this. I havent been playing Granblue for a while now (got a bit tired of the grind), but its good to see that the story and lore keeps being developed and still being interesting as ever. Thank you for your service chief.
Just a note though, regarding your last paragraph, I was referring to the Fallen Angels, etc. when I was talking about Primal Beasts being locked in Pandemonium, I think it was always assumed the Primal Beasts lived in the Skydom after the war doing their own thing and I think it was clear, at least for me, that some turned against the Astral (like Rosetta, Lucifer, etc.), but it's nice to finally see for ourselves what went down during that time.
@@leftdanchou443 Oh I didn't know you was referring to the Archangel beasts. But yeah, as shown in the 8th Anniversary event (which I have uploaded on my channel), it showed that the Primals ended up living amongst the Skydwellers. But it was not an easy thing because the Primals were different from the Skydwellers. They're said to be Immutable and Immortal. So since they can't change or age, and were feared for their power, it was not easy until a Primal named Cosmos helped give both sides _a little push_ in order for a stable progression of things where both sides can co-exist.
@@leftdanchou443 I upload lore videos as well. Although i've been behind on some I have planned due to being busy. You should really check out the 8th Anniversary event, I like it alot.
@1:55 Those are Fox Girls. lol Though the Erune's will at times be themed after certain animals despite not actually being that animal. (According to some interview someone mentioned to me about.)
Was thinking about getting back into Gran blue and came across your video. Really good stuff! Kinda hyped me about the game since it made wanna know more about the game's lore. Hope you make more videos like this.
Thanks for explaining some of the lore. I think it was fantastic. Im just getting into GB and the lore is difficult to follow if soneone doesnt explain it to you. Your english sounded good too. I only mention it because you said something about it toward the end. It was good enough that I didn't notice anything up until the end where you mentioned your accent.
Well yes and no. I plan on making more videos eventually but to get to the Lucifer lore I need to explain a lot of stuff that comes before. In the event What Makes the Sky Blue Lucifer's role is explained better. He's more like a superviser, he oversees and protects the skydweller world but he doesnt quite rule it.
Yeah theres pretty much 0 youtube channels explaining it and Ive only seen one chart explaining it very roughly floating around so thats why Im here haha. Thank you, my friend, for the kind words
Thanks for the info. I only watched the anime myself but would enjoy looking in how the story might conclude. Did they cover the complete story mode in the game already or might it take some time yet to see where Gran and his friends venture to yet?
The stort of Granblue is divided into a few "arcs" the anime covers most of the first arc, but the juicy bits are further beyond the anime. The story is not yet concluded at all but the anime is a good entrypoint to the story (and more entertaining as well)
@@leftdanchou443 Thank you. I keep my fingers crossed that the story once it got completed might receive an adaptation for either a visual novel or anime experience yet. I'd be excited to see if they might find what Gran's father went for in the past.
