ReD_ JaMeX The 300 can make 60+ hp with ease. However, I’d like to see a bigger engine simply because it would be more reliable. Asking 60+ hp out of a 380+ cc 2 stroke would be a lot easier on the engine than asking 60+ hp out of a 300 cc 2 stroke.

gedeonbertram Biggest kit you can get for the 300 is 330ccs. BVC Racing makes a 500 kit, but you have to swap the whole engine. You need to get a cylinder and cases and use the factory gears. I’d rather have something OEM.

Ride every day and not be afraid and you’ll be banging gears pretty quick but this talent is like 3-4yrs I bet
as long as you go to the track the first times that you want to push (much easier to learn on track and then take it to the street) even in 1 or 2 years you'll be good. In like 2 or 3 months of riding every day you usually get a gist of how the bike reacts and how to ride it at its limit and then it's all about having no fear. Ride responsibly though as you want to come back home from every ride, 99% of the times there's someone waiting for you

The throttle isn't a light switch, ya know... Literally zero finesse in the wheelies :-P
That's how a ton of people do dirtbike wheelies. They haven't mastered the balance point so they Just keep hammering the throttle. Looks so dumb in my opinion

David Weru: you are right David. I’ve come all too close on bikes and snowmobiles. I felt scared for this young rider, competent though he may be. Have lost two friends to deer, and am now foster parent to their three children. I love seeing these kids have fun on their new bikes, and certainly don’t mean to rain on that, however I feel a real need to share what tragedy has taught.
