Ma'am I'm Vj from India I'm planning to get an advance diploma in Sports Management at Humber College, Canada... Can you tell me tht is it good or bad...???
I am currently studying sports management at the university of Florida and I truly have a deep passion for football so this is helpful. Preferably ESPN or Fox Sports or the NFL
Great video Adriene! I work with former/retired athletes to help them map out the next chapters of their lives once their athletic careers are over. As you might imagine, I come across many former athletes who are interested in landing jobs in the sports industry. I will be sure to point them in your direction. Looking forward to following your work!
What are some jobs that are very specific to sports (besides coaches and such)? For example a business analyst for the Dallas Mavericks would pretty much do the same job as a BA for Walmart. Any feedback you can give me would help!
We are lucky enough to be doing our dream job already, We help sport and fitness brands, clubs and organisations to unlock their brand's potential. We have a podcast called the unified brand podcast - would love to get you on sometime.
Volunteer. Volunteer. Volunteer. Internships, trade based agreements, minimum wage jobs at stadiums/arenas. Your degree alone will not get your foot in the door. You won’t get paid until you sacrifice your time. Teams need good help. Get in the building, go above and beyond, get paid.

Thank you very much for this video. I did not know about the specialized websites out there, so this was an eye opener. A specific question: What networks would you recommend if one would like to get into the tennis industry? Or at least speak to someone to see if that is the right direction that I can take? I have about 4-5 years experience and counting in regards to networking, advising and organizing Social Tennis events in the Rockville and Olney, MD area, but would like to get into a career with these skill sets instead of doing this pro bono. Thank you very much for any help given.
As a foreigner, is there any opportunities to get a job or intership programs for sports management?? I’m preparing for it but I’m not sure if it’s exactly possible..! Specifically, i’m focusing on the internship first to experience!
Awesome vid! I'm searching for a collegiate athletic administrative job. I am a current Graduate assistant and soon to be MBA. I'm curious if you have any particular advice! Thanks!
Hello Adriene, I study and live in the Netherlands and couldnt find any Jobs/internships through those 3 websites which you mentioned. Can you please help me out ? Thanks in advance.
i feel like those 3 sport job websites are scams from a few people and found it very sketchy that you need to pay 15 a month just to apply to their jobs anyone tried that and found them to be very useful?
