As someone with 20 years of retail behind her; this hurts my heart!!
1. If you had some sort of system in your store, it would be easier for you to keep track of things. Ie keep all the cleaning products on one shelf (or two). Keep all your cheeses in one fridge, the sodas in another etc.
2. Your storage.... oh my! I'm itching to organize it! :D Even though you have restockers, you still need to know what you have if you're gonna get the most of out your store. Clean it up, organize it (like in the store, keep the same categories together) and you'll be able to order what you need instead of just throwing money out of the window.
Otherwise, I love this series!

That storage area is beyond fixing. Lol. Once you start selling multiple skus, you have to have some sort of a system to keep up with what you have on hand. I just give each item from one slot to 8 slots depending on the size of the box and how well it sells.
If you continue to operate by blind ordering, you will have to wait until an item sells completely out before you order again. Or you could just over order like you did when the video started. But when you have a mountain of products on the curb and you purchase new items, you will have to dig until you find it.

Yeah! He seems to not realize that the problem is him. You can't look on the shelf and say oh we're low so lets just order 3 of this thing and that's that. He needs to organize the back so he knows where things are. THEN he looks at the BACK and can see what's low and what's not. It might help if he brings his computer to the back so he can monitor the back from there instead of buying multiple things without organizing. It's entertaining to watch, but frustrating!
Flip your freezers and fridges so the isle doesn’t feel as blocked off with the high fridges
I used to work at Lidl in my teenage years. Interacting with customers is the best. The time goes insane fast.
Its also kinda fun to see repeat customers and their bying habbits 😁
I love the series.
I have two suggestions.
1. If you are wanting to have freezers in front of the refrigerators, why not put all the fridges against the wall? It will be uniform and you can better track and remember where things are this tracking what needs to be restocked
2. You have a ton of empty shelves in the store. You should invest time and maximize what your stores items. Why is there only two shelves of candy bars when that entire rack is not even being used? I feel like you would maximize your sales and returns

Just put the fridges on the back wall and then the freezers in the between of the fridges and shelfs....it looks more open.

Trev bro you need to organize your storage and order based on what's getting low in storage, not what's low on the shelves. The shelves might be low because the stockers havent gotten to it yet. If you organize the storage where you know where eveeything is you coule say 'okay, im down to one case of this, this, and this" for example.
Just when you thought Trev was doing better with prices after putting on the shelf, he comes back to disappoints
Quick tip,
I think you have an extra checkout stand right? Find a place for it and use it while you have 2 other cashiers to speed up the process. You can even close the checkout stand with ‘E’ when you are not on the checkout stand to prevent customers from lining up to an empty checkout stand.
Rotate your cash registers they won't line up in your storage :).
Trevor, you gotta stop ordering food by the shelves, and rather by the backstock
Wouldn't it be better if the cash registers turned around 180 degrees so the customer line would be on the otherside and the cashiers face the entrance? I think so👀
As for the way it is placed now. No. Buut he could get the flipped versions of the registers that could work. But hehe we have seen him try. He doesn't like it.

Um, I am not sure you will ever sell thru all that stock! You need to organise your stockroom, put the computer in the stockroom and only order when a stockroom shelf becomes empty lol

As a manager of a grocery store 2 issues you should address 1 stack the registers on top of each other heading towards the exits. The other the stockroom should never be full while the sales floor is empty. You are losing so much money.

@@Boissinova the registers should turn 90 degrees . Cashier 2 would be behind cashier 1 parallel. When the customers finishing paying they're walking out of the store not down a aisle. The line will then form going towards the back of the store by the freezers instead of the stockroom.

your 3rd aisle is too wide. scooch that over, move your 4th aisle over, and put more shelves on the backside of your fridges to "complete" the aisle.

I desperately want to play this game myself, but I don’t have a pc. A tip I could think of telling you, if you look at your storage room it says how many of each item you have on the label in there, maybe use that when you’re ordering more stock 😊

You should run the coolers along the wall and make an aisle with the freezers for now so your not staring at the back of the coolers and it will open up the store a little more so you can see the back corner from the registers.

Your customers are walking past the cash to get to check out - try turning the cashier/check out counter around so that the customers can line up into the aisles other than into the storage room!
I love this series! A couple of things, you're not really selling items for $0 when you forget to set the price, you're just selling them at cost. So you're technically not losing money but also not making any lol, and do you think we could look into customization options for walls/floors?
The thing is, you're technically losing money by selling at cost since you have bills and rents to pay.
@Misfiring89 Sure, if you're selling everything at cost you wouldn't have been able to grow at all in the first place. I just meant at this point in time, he's making enough profit off the other items where he can pay the bills, and the couple items he's selling at cost aren't losing him money.. just taking him back to the amount he had before he bought them

When they got stuck in the storage just move the Xbox to get them unstuck. And in store if they got stuck at a shelf just refill on them shelf they are in front of it will help
