I love artificers. Especially armorer since you can do some pretty cool stuff if you focus on it. Like, the lightning launcher is great for damage. You can get pretty high ac. You can use flash of genius to get super high int saves and standardly high saves on everything else. So much attunement. Etc

I did this once to build a small town of adventurers. Except I set all levels to 5. All in all, made 362 different characters and then proceeded to get too busy to ever use them. I ended up donating them to my LGS so they could run weird one shots where players would just grab a random character and play the one shots. Super weird time in my life. But by god I loved it.

Let’s try making a character by drawing tarot cards. Class, backstory, race and other stuff like that.
If you want your random build to be more random, don't use a d20 for the levels, use d6-12 dice. Rolls bigger than the remainder just fill it to max.
You get Firebolt that does 5D10 Fire Damage from a pretty decent range by taking 1 Level into Sorcerer at Level 20 tbf.
Also Wild Magic Surge and Tides of Chaos.

And frostbite ray of frost and shocking grasp each of them screw with you're opponent actions

@@JosiahAkaBrick Oh right, I forgot Sorcerer gets access to Shield.
You can get shield and Armour of Agathys with Clockwork Soul sorcerer dip. Not ideal but better than nothing. Take first lvl of sorcerer at second level and swap out one of your clockwork soul spells for AoA - you’ve gained a lvl in sorcerer so it is an option.

next time role for every Level sepretly with 20x d12 to get some cracy multiclassing, but loved the idea

could you try to make a powerbuild with bugbear fighter/rogue?
fighter 17
rogue 3(for assasinate)
you take magic initiate feat for eldritch blast
bugbear lest you do 2d6 on an attack against a suprised creature
eldritch blast has 4 bolts, each with a seperate attack roll so also each with an extra 2d6
fighter has a bunch of attacks so you do an absolute ton of damage and you roll attack with advantage as well as critting as soon as you hit.
34 levels in warlock
