This morning at our first Elementary Chapel of the year, Mr. Joe Wilson, Head of Lower School, spoke to our students. He introduced our theme for the year, 'Reflect,' encouraging the students to take time to look back and meditate on God's works. Reflecting helps us cultivate thankfulness. He also challenged everyone to live in a way that reflects Jesus in their daily lives.
Here are some questions to discuss as a family:
Reflecting on God's Work: What are some things God has done in our lives that we can look back on and be thankful for?
How can remembering these moments help us in difficult times?
Living as a Reflection of Jesus: What does it mean to reflect Jesus in our daily lives?
Can you think of ways we can show His love and kindness to others in our family, school, or community?
The Power of Reflection: How does taking time to reflect make us more aware of the good things around us?
How can we make reflection a regular part of our routine as a family?
