Very nice tutorial! I appreciate how you handled the background music, and the editing was very tight. Also, I didn't realize Deej was so easy to set up; I'm totally going to use this now. I look forward to your next video.
Honestly, I've been looking for something that would perform this EXACT function, while not breaking the bank. I can't justify spending 100's on the new BEACN stuff, and I've DIY'd a 32 function button box for my sim racing rig using an unofficial Arduino Nano, so this should be easy as hell to do. This is exciting, thanks for this video!
Really nice, even learned a trick or two while waching you solder. I never thought of connecting the cables with solder together and to put solder on the connection first. 😅 I always tried to use a pcb and then messed it up 🤣
The way people tell me to do it is to heat up the wire with the iron, and then put the solder on. Apparently the solder and the soldering iron aren’t supposed to touch. It takes some practice cuz I’m still not very good at it 😅
What is the Maximum potentiometers/sliders you can use on the Nano? Does the Uno have more pins you can use? What board do i use when i want to use the maximum you can use? My external dac has 4 channels available. Sometimes it is in the wrong channel and must change it manualy to the correct channel. Can you use buttons to activate a specific source on the dac?
@@N8TEBB Yeah. Maybe over a Discord-Bot or so that would be possible. Because ove Windows I think you can't control the individual volume of different voice-channel-members. IDK. Would be amazing.
@@N8TEBB lol, good luck. I built a PC last November and it was the best spent money in my entire life. Tip: If you're building a gaming desktop PC, don't skimp. Get RGB, get a solid CPU, a GPU that has more than 3 gigabytes of visual random access memory, a GPU that has memory faster than GDDR4, go all out.
@@Astral-fp2hs heh, unfortunately I don't see building a computer in my near future, as Uni requires a laptop. It will sure be a beefy one, but not as all-out as a custom desktop PC.

Thanks for your feedback!
Yooo i never new this existed. May have to do this in the summer. Thanks! :)
I need this 😸
congratulations for the great tutorial video
Great video!
Just FYI, you didn't have to replace the potentiometers because you used them as a voltage divider.
Heh, someone told me that after I replaced them 🤦♂️. At least I know for next time lol. I’m very new to this stuff so I have a lot of learning to do

Very useful!
With the same mapped can i use in Fl studio to control the mixer.?

Cool!
could you control the line in?
Is it possible to add a mute mic switch to this?
the different pots will work, no need to change them, surprised you didnt try them out before replacing them
Haha, I learned this shortly after replacing them! Oh well
Nice video! Thingverse link leads nowhere..
Thanks! Iet me fix that link....
should work now :)
Nices video! Jetzt müsste nur noch irgendwie schaffen die Lautstärke von verschiedenen Discord-Usern einzustellen.
Thanks! That would be really cool, but I don't know how to do that! Maybe one day I'll figure it out ;)

instead of one dial for one application. is there a way to make it all of your games?
Btw, nice video.
Yes! you can make a list of applications, or what I did was assigned the dial to everything that wasn't already mapped.
@@N8TEBB ok thanks!!!
mans needs a new computer and monitor, homie's making youtube videos on a 15" laptop and a 2005 monitor
13" laptop, but you almost nailed the monitor. its a 2006 lol. Don't worry tho, im of to uni this fall so a new computer is on my to do list.
