1 boxed Lemon Cake Mix
3.4-ounce package Instant Lemon Pudding Mix
1 cup Milk
1/3 cup Oil
4 Eggs
Mix ingredients together with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into a well buttered bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees F for 45 to 55 minutes until done in the center. Let cool completely.
FROSTING recipe:
12-ounce container Cream Cheese Frosting
Zest of 1 Lemon
Juice of 1 Lemon
Mix all together well and pour onto the top of the cooled cake and let it drizzle down the sides. Tastes better the next day after sitting in the refrigerator.

My Mother used to make Bunt cakes a lot. I remember they came out with some kind of mix where the center of the cake was another flavor. Like a cream cheese middle, an things like that. She made a lot of her cakes by scratch. I'm no where near as talented as she was, so I'm stuck doing mixes, an cook book recipes. But thats OK. lol :~)

Those cakes were so popular in late 60s and 70s. I baked so many everything that needed a cake I baked one. Now I’m going to bake one. For Monday. So glad you reminded me me of this cake.

You usually put vanilla flavoring in your cake mix, I didn't see you do it. Now Everytime I make a cake I put vanilla in mine.
I do usually it vanilla. I wanted to real bad in this one but I put the lemon pudding mix and it is so packed full of flavor that I stopped myself. 😂 It was very hard. I usually put vanilla in coop whip too. And those store bought frostings😊
@@amyslouisianakitchen I was screaming, you forgot the vanilla, lol. I learned it from you and I put it in my cake mix and in my icing now. Usually my 8 yr old granddaughter helps me when making cakes, and she yells don't forget the vanilla, lol
