Piñon Picking With My Family | A Navajo Tradition

Hello there! In this video, I go piñon picking with my parents and my Nalii (Grandma) over the course of two days. Finding the piñons was a bit of a challenge, but we got lucky and found some trees to pick from. This is something my family has done for years & is a common practice for Native families. I had the best time making these memories with my parents & Nalii and we got some yummy piñons in the process!

I remember my aunt took me once over by St Michaels when i was a kid. I did not enjoy it! LOL! I like eating them, but not picking them. Takes a lot of work! That's why they kind of expensive. Great job and excellent video! Your channel popped up in my recommendations!

Hi nice video. Grandma found arrow head suppose to leave bc the tip is bend or curve not suppose to take leave it. It telling u there a better arrow head some where.
