This is a wonderful revisit of this fan, the color scheme is absolutely perfect for it. This is the golden era of box fans, when they were well designed, very quiet and very powerful. Sadly, none of today’s fans are made like this.

These vintage box fans are the real deal, they were very well constructed and they're very quiet as well as the high performers they are. Don't see that with modern fans today. I noticed that the humming sound it was making before has diminished, one of my box fans has the same motor but is reversible and was making the same racket when it started up on the other position, how were you able to repair yours?
