    Your videos are so thorough. Thank you so much! I used to do the loop method when sewing as well but then I stopped just because it was so time consuming and realized in the end that there was not a difference when I sew the traditional way. I wear my wigs on a daily basis up to a year and they have never become undone. Just thought I would share that with you.

    You did such an amazing job on this wig!
    My only question is on the elastic band. Did you sew the band right to the end of the frontal on the sides, or the end of the frontal toward the back? At 14:14 its hard to tell.

    • @carameliciouszz

    • @urgunnaluvmeh
      @urgunnaluvmeh 8 лет назад +6

      For anyone reading this, it's connecting the back of each side of the frontal to each other. It's not connecting the flaps. The flaps are left untouched to fit over the sideburns. If the elastic is connected at the flaps, your natural sideburns would show when the wig is on. Hope that helped!

    Hi, I'm living your videos on making this wig with a frontal, best I've come across so far. Questions, when trying to make a wig in the past I feel like the cap gets too tight as I start sewing, and my hair is thick and my head is not small. how do you insure the tracks are secure without pulling the thread too tight when sewing? please help.....

  • @Micheallaa
    @Micheallaa 8 лет назад +5

    One thing I don't understand is why do some people use a wig cap before putting the wig on? I watched one of Ivy's videos and she used one and somehow it looked like her scalp through the lace. Is it to make it look more natural? And also how do your braids not show through the lace if you don't use one? Also I tried making a wig before and it wouldn't fit on my head, it measures 23.5 inches cause I have a lot of hair. Does this cap stretch? I'm so confused lol, but you look great. Awesome video!

    • @belledamebebe
      @belledamebebe 7 лет назад

      Michealla Edwards I like to use a wig cap to prevent friction on my hair and to keep my hair in place. The lace is what should look like the scalp. If you don't use a cap just pin your hair down to keep your hair in place. it s alway good to wear one. When making your frontal wig make sure to use a canvas head with the same size as your head.Watch as many videos to understand the process. practice makes perfect, i‘m still learning.

    • @Micheallaa
      @Micheallaa 7 лет назад +2

      belledamebebe thanks for responding lol. I actually just made the wig a few months ago then cut holes all through it so it would fit my head. It was a hot mess underneath, but at least it looked good on the outside. Lol

    Question.
    I've got a really massive head and every time I make a wig the frontal don't come down on my head. Should I bring the frontal more forward when I'm seeing it down on the wig cap due to my head being big?
