    Ben, no disrespect intended but Troy Franklin played 7 more games than Demaryius Thomas. He technically did not have a better year than D.T. Had D.T. Had an extra 7 games played he would have had better numbers may he rest in peace. Troy can be special, no doubt about that but he wasn’t better in his rookie season than D.T. Please stop blowing things out of proportion, and just so you know, we are not making the entire NFL Jealous !!! Only way to do that , is to win the Super Bowl and we will then have earned the right to brag about it. It’s bound to happen with Bo Nix as our Franchise QB but we need to build around him and give him the weapons he needs to be successful. I’ve been a die hard Broncos fan too, since 1993. But we need to face reality and stop sugar coating everything. We are on the verge of getting better and becoming true contenders but not quite yet. Hopefully next year will be much better. Enjoy the offseason and be blessed. 🙏

      You're absolutely right about nobody being jealous of us!! I can see why Buffalo fans were calling this site out for being disrespectful. Sean Payton was 0-8 when behind at halftime. We only beat 2 teams with winning records. We need a lot more talent. Nobody is jealous.

    One thing I saw that made me think we have something special is that when our kicker missed the field goal on Sunday, I saw Nix come over as they were jogging back to the locker room and pat him on the back. Leadership is rare and Nix has it. Next year, I want to see more Marvin Mimms Jr. in the offense.

    Great video as usual Ben. Bo's back issue is crazy that he played the rest season and it didn't get out is crazy. We knew he was tough! Kinda reminded me about when Alex Singleton played the rest of that game when he had the season ending knee injury. We have some tough guy's on this team. I Bo-lieve they will make some good moves during the off season. Was a little surprised that they didn't give you to much of a hard time on the ACF West Roundtable lol.

    Our O-line is the highest paid, not the best. Part of why we have such few sacks is due to Bo’s athletic ability. And they can not run block rarely open holes and that’s a problem.

      You're right. I basically like our offensive line, but they might need an upgrade in the interior. We need someone to help support a rushing attack. We also need a tough tight end, and another speedster to stretch the field.
      I'm no good at evaluating talent, and I know our young guys are still developing, but I really want some strong players out there who can help us step up a level.
      It would be nice if we could get to the playoffs again and actually win a game or two. It would be another step forward.

    Definitely need more weapons in the receiving room, I want to give Franklin the benefit of the doubt but he needs to improve those hands. Would be huge to get a TE and RB, but that's a dream scenario. Wouldn't hurt to get some experience in the core, maybe some veteran WR to support Nix but also Sutton with the mentoring? The injury actually occurred when a particular play was wayyyyyyy over Max Crosby came over gave a cheap (not-so-hard) shove in the back of Bo who was 1,000% not expecting it, quickly reached to his back, twitched and grimaced. After that he didn’t hardly run at all the following weeks. Please go find this play and see for yourself! 1,000% Fo’Real!

    • @matthewmoorman2018
      @matthewmoorman2018 7 дней назад +1

      The O-line is good. They Zone block well. There are multiple reasons that the running game struggled. Play calling, running backs, poor downfield and open field blocking by TEs and wide receivers. A good running game needs everyone to block, not just the big five guys up front.

    • @michaelstaab9615
      @michaelstaab9615 7 дней назад

      @@matthewmoorman2018Sean Payton doesn't run a zone blocking scheme. And the tight ends are not good receivers but are considered good run blockers. I never see our backs get to the second level where open field blocking comes into play. It's the same line as last year where they gave up most sacks in the league. I realize Russell Wilson was a big reason for that and Nix was only sacked half as many times. Nix is a big reason for offensive line ranking much better in pass protection.

    • @johnnyhandsome3424

    • @matthewmoorman2018
      @matthewmoorman2018 7 дней назад

      @ The blocking schemes are not all zone blocking but some of their run packages use zone blocking. I agree with you about the running backs. Either their initial burst is not enough, they are not seeing the holes and cutbacks, or they just don’t have the talent to compete against the second level of Ds. I’ve also noticed that when a linebacker or safety crashes downhill, it blows up the entire run play instantly. I don’t know if that’s a pre-snap read that is missed or the blocking schemes just not accounting for gap crashing. 🤷🏽

If you look at the first 5 games Bo did nothing and the defense keep them close. It wasn't until coach felt that Bo was doing better and catching up with the speed of NFL that he start opening his play book. Coach play book is extremely extensive if you look at Brees trough the years with the saints. It just that coach knows that Russel would not comprehend his playbook that is why they choose to let him go. Take the hit now verses later. Coach was the only one in the NFL that sees the potential that Bo has and knew the can develop him. Take it or leave it Bo is doing a great job in the NFL as a rookie and with a help of a great coach. Yes Daniels is doing great at Washington too as a rookie but that is due to his natural abilities. I think if Seattle and Pittsburgh were later in the year those would have gone differently. Plus this is always kind of fallacious reasoning that sounds like its meaningful but isn't really as meaningful as it sounds. When you beat teams they get losses, which leads to "losing records". If we'd have lost to the Falcons or the Colts they'd both have had winning records. Absolutely smoked both. If we beat the Bengals they had a losing record. So that one is a no win scenario by that metric. It's just doesn't mean much.
