Hip hop was way better back when things were gangsta. Even the stuff that wasn't. Nowadays it suffers the same fate as country. It's very pop now. "Hip pop" if you will. It's hard to find good music now, but I think what I was trying to say is there used to be great new stuff on the radio all the time, now there's rarely anything new and interesting.

These were some good years for the music scene. I had friends who all listened to different genres of music back then and the music from this genre all the way to even music out of Mexico was damn good. So many artists were throwing out hit after hit so no matter what station you tuned into, you could find a song to fit any mood or situation. They also didn't rely on crappy computer generated beats that all sound the same like the artists now seem to do.
