👍👍 thanks for posting this . I saw the band "the Outlaws" about a year after they came out. Hughie Thomasson became one of my favorite guitarists to this day. He did blistering lead runs & played so clean I was stunned. I love the bluegrass influence 👍👍
So cool, I'd really like to join Badass Guitar School online, but unfortunately I don't speak English. RUclips has an instant translator, which allows me to study the first videos. Can the Badass Guitar School videos with the subscription be translated into French like on youtube? Thank you in advance for your reply.
Also keen to do the scale study. 🙏🏼 FYI: I got onto the website. Tried to sign up but there are no prices displayed, no contact details , no information, etc.
Yes absolutely! There are more videos at badassguitarschool.com I have it set up right now where you can get a free lick lesson when you go to the page when you enter your email address. You will then immediately be taken to the free lesson and also you will immediately receive an email with the link to join. Hope this helps and I hope to see ya soon over at badassguitarschool.com!
I’ve been playing guitar for a very long time. I can barely play one song. Truth. Look at my videos. Playing like this guy is like magic to me. Something I will never achieve. It sucks!
Thank you for the kind words. Anything is possible! 10 min every single day will bring progress! We are all looking to get better and that’s the only way to do it. Put yer fingers on yer guitar every single day. I have some great beginner guitar instruction on badassguitarschool.com and I also do one on one lessons. Whatever I can do to help, I’d be happy to.
How would you feel about taking on a student, (I'm thinking next month), that is older and handicapped. I used to play finger style guitar, (not many scales), but besides losing the right leg below the knee and a spinal injury, I had a mini stroke and do not have full use of the right hand. (No excuses, just facts). I have something that helps me hold the pick in the right hand and I'm willing to work. I repair guitars at home now and am making my first acoustic dread naught.
@@Badassguitarschool been learning the Norman Blake version. But mainly been working on tony Rice the gold rush. Grew up a metal head and after having kids sorta didn't have time. My daughter got into country bluegrass music. She was 3. Wife and her got me a cheap acoustic and ever sense my daughter passed away in June this year. Sadly on father's day. I've dedicated every moment I can to learning this music for her
@@gunguy5409 wow! I’m so sorry for your loss, I can not imagine. Sounds like you really got some good things going on as you are moving forward! Glad to be of any help.
Thank you I Appreciate it. Just working on learning all I can. Self taught so it's tough. But I'm learning everything I can. Keeps my mind clear when I'm thinking about it instead of everything else.
@@gunguy5409 I have room for one more 1 on 1 zoom lessons if you are interested. Reach out to me at bart@reply.badassguitarschool.com if it’s something you think you might wanna do.
How do you cancel membership on your website? There is very little to no content for $35 a month. Please send me the link, your website is impossible to navigate. You are badass at guitar, but whoever developed your site needs to be replaced.

I don't often give positive comments On RUclips videos, as they're normally a load of b******* but at last a really good video, and a really good knowledgeable player, very rare these days, excellent, well done, loved your playing. JC. from UK.
Bart you are just unbelievable on the guitar
Thank you so much!

Hey thank you very much.
Love this. I'll second everything you're saying. You've got a lot of attitude and it comes through your playing in really cool way.

What watch is that? 😮
It an Invicta. It’s a copy of my dream watch, the Submariner!
What year model is the D 18? It sounds like a powerhouse.
This one is a 1967. My dad bought it new in highschool. It’s a canon and it’s the one I leaned on from age 4.
