Thank you for such a clear demonstration! I cried trying to make box pleats once and vowed never to try again. I do believe I'm ready to conquer the dreaded beast now. It's also nice to know my brain isn't the only one that gets overloaded and needs to be zen to accomplish the fiddly bits.

that twisted knife pleat looks like it it could help a summer wight fabric with skirt volume or stiffness. thank you, you're giving me great ideas
