NHMS has been referred to as that a couple of times and I never understood why- two different tracks entirely. What’s funny is these boys think they are the big show every time they show up- and the modifieds make them look like amateurs.

Well I'm very happy to see Kyle Busch be calm over the radio and after the race owned up to his mistakes, didn't hear him cry so I shouldn't see cryle comments this week.
Kyle actually owned to his mistakes, im not calling it yet but im hoping he keeps up some humbleness. I was at the race and it was a pleasure to watch it sucks to see NH losing a race since its my home track. Either way great to see DH get a win and his burnout was awesome.

I was there! My second race I've ever been to. I can definitely say this race was better in comparison to the 2016 Chase Race! Definitely more eventful. The people we met in the parking lot after we got off the bus from the track asked us if we wanted to sit over with them and have some food. Can't wait to get back there in September!

I went to this Race in Person
So. I went to the NHMS race and had my own scanner and all that. Few things I noticed that were weird.
1. Failure to mention the hole in the track at all. I was listening to Ryan Newman's radio, and it was priceless. "Just fill it with VHT. That seems to be the thing to do these days."
2. Joey Logano broke before the end of Stage 2, but the voice clip of him talking about the suspension braking was after Stage 2 ended.
3. 26 cars still on the lead lap when Martin Cut down the tire. False. There was less than that.
4. Failure to talk about the Joey Logano vs Aric Almirola comms which were really good listening to it live.
5. Failure to show Denny's full burnout.
50.01 MPH? How specific do you have to get NASCAR?!
Sammy/Tracy Maggio they're getting way too nitpicky. have speed on enter and exit. they should go back to regulating lugnuts though so tires won't come off like what happened to Kyle Busch. they should also make inspection easier. I mean cars failing inspection multiple times so they can't even qualify and failing inspection after races. I mean it's Nascar not formula one. it just makes it harder on teams when they're financials aren't what they were in the mid 2000s
Remember drivers are given a 5 mph cushion. Its just simple math, distance / time, marked by the transponder. Go over that cushion, get a penalty.

What a dismal crowd
As someone who was there, yeah. The crowd felt like an Xfinity race, so you can guess how the Xfinity race crowd felt... and the K&N Pro crowd on Saturday after the Xfinity race... oh my
It was alright, considering the track is mediocre and New England isn't exactly motor sports central. Plus the heat puts a lot of people off. I was there and it was great, I only had to sit in traffic for 20 minutes and no lines anywhere. I'm guessing with only one race next year it will be more full.
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the track, but its an hour from me and the next closest one is Pocono which is over 5 hours away. But it's at least different from the 10 mile and a half tracks on the schedule.
