I think that despite being developed primarily as a love interest for Obi-Wan, she is a great Charakter. Her Exaggerated pacifism clashes with Kenobis more realistic View of the Clone wars in the best and most amusing way possible.
Satine is no Queen, she is a duchess. Difference being, that a duchess is of lower rank in feudal structures, equivalent to a Kings top general. Of course, Satine subverts that idea by being pacifistic to an almost comical extent.
