I appreciate the effort, and the idea. But I must point a couple of things that could be improved at almost no cost. 1) Logic! this sniper has all his body camouflaged, yet he wanders with his huge sniper rifle without camo. 2) Logic again: The sniper obviously is in the enemy teritory, he expects a threat any time. Yet he decides to move quite rapidly, looking through the scope, which probably reduces the eyeshot by 95% or so? And his head camo is so big that he probably can't look sideways. 3) Logic again: 1:11 he adjusts the scope, but without any intention to shoot. 4) Logic again: 1:39 he checks his handgun? Why now, with possible threat lurking in somewhere nere?! he should have it checked befeore. And he does it so loudly and clumsily. And why the heck isn't he carying it with a chambered round?! 5) requisite: this handgun is so obviously ASG, it just burns eyes. I do understand that it's difficult to get a decent replica, but you should've film it at different angle, so it is not so visible. 6) 3:10 he spends about 12 seconds drawing his knife, and then flicks it open with a loud click! BTW - I suppose a real sniper would also have at least one fixed blade combat knife. 7) Logic again! why did he choose to attack after the bad guy already walked about 10 meters away? what if the bad guy heard him, turned around and fired? Our sniper was holding only a knife at that point... And where did he left his huge sniper rifle?! just laying on the ground?!?? 8) Snipers are trained proffesionals. But having a strong advantage, being prepared and attacking from behind he does it so poorely that gets stabbed and is forced to shoot to save his life. was this his first day in the army?? 9) 3:57 New axe lying there. How convenient! 10) finnaly, the plot. I know that those movies are not supposed to tell about a complicated spy affair. But it was just about nothing: walking christmas tree with a sniper rifle attacks a bad guy with a folding knife. end.
No sniper, in the history of sniping would ever choose to leave his weapon behind and use a knife to kill a bad guy. In most cases the baddy would be allowed to pass unmolested, unaware that death was just feet away in the underbrush.
Nor would he not have a silencer on his pistol, let alone put the pistol n his pocket. Plus, no sniper covers his field if view and just looks down the view of his scope while in motion in any THEATRE.
Don't think he'd be carrying an empty handgun, or dry fire or cycle a weapon cuz yaknow stealth, nor pick his weapon up with his finger in the trigger guard, pretty sure he'd know the placement of the adjustment knobs on his scope....
I think story could be better... It should be like... Sniper is out of ammo and last enemy searching for him( not just walking and smoking). Sniper is hidden in ghille and spotted the enemy....now he took his knife and waiting for the enemy to come near to him...enemy is so close now.. Sniper holds his breath and waiting for the enemy to turn his back... Enemy turned and sniper charge on him with knife and disarmed (only his assault rifle not axe) the enemy.. Now there is some thrilling fight between them with axe and knife...enemy gives few shots to sniper but at the end sniper penetrates his knife in enemy neck and get success to kill him... In last scene: sniper is laid on the ground breathing deeply.. See photo of wife and says ''I'm coming dear" THE END...... I have request to this channel..please make a video according to story i written...please like my comment if you liked my story... Thanks🙂
Like others have said I get this was low budget but what makes a film great is actually portraying how a true character would act, and if I was behind enemy lines that would be in no way my behavior. 1. I’m going to avoid confrontation at all cost especially if have no squad mates and I’m alone. 2. My goal as a sniper is to not be seen at all and if I am not until after I have executed my mission. 3. I’m not going to pull out my pistol unloaded and check and see if there is a round loaded in the chamber, out of my pocket non the less(I get a hip holster cost money but with the extent of that ghilie suit a hip holster seems logical.) focus more on details.

How the hell do snipers navigate around the place using a scope? I'd be falling over stuff, hitting my head on branches and bumping the gun barrel into tree trunks. Then when I fell unconscious the medics wouldn't be able to find me because my camo was so damn convincing.
I woulda turned this unrealistic video from a farce to a comedy by having the sniper pull out his cigarettes and start smoking underneath his ghillie suit, too. Then have a narrator say: "Any time is a good time for [XYZ brand] cigarettes." Then show the tag-line: War is Hell, smoking [XYZ brand] is Heaven.
As a ghillied up, long range precision shooter, so many red flags were upsetting me about this 🤣 I had to cut it off. I know it’s fan made but did you even study snipers in movies?
He has a gully suit on but his weapon isn't blended in. 2) NO sniper will ever be behind enemy lines with a single shot one round rifle (3) his pistol sits in his pocket and not holstered (4) he moves WAAAY too much way too often (5) a sniper will never leave his weapon (which is highly trained and very good with) to use a knife (that enemy would have passed by knowing nothing. I was a sniper in my country Special forces and after in French legion. And i can say only one - absolutely non professional made movie! Has nothing common to real sniper )) Especially that part of the movie - he checked his pistol, leaved it in his pocket !!! without bullet in the barrel but when was on the ground just take it and shot! Without gun to be loaded hahahaha

Trebor Nabiuq snipers have spotters which is usually the senior sniper who is more experienced with calling distance and winds but I imagine there is times that he works alone
I had a sniper 8x57 during the war. I thought that was something. It was entirely made of composite material except for the barrel and bolt (Mauser type, but Swiss-made. Then I spent a month with the Snajoerist boys, but with the Snajoerist "cannons" on the Velebit mountain. They had an anti-aircraft bullet. At 2.5km, it hit a man like nothing. These are were snipers, lying in the snow and ice for days. That was in the war for the independence of Croatia. I was not a sniper. That was my second weapon. I had the main AK-47. The sniper was private. Mine .I was a volunteer and spent four difficult years in the war. But the homeland and the city must be defended and the woman and the child and the neighbor. To go back to that time is the same I would do it even though I've been lying down for 3 years now.
Doughroaster Bushcraft And Survival did it ever occur to you that blank firing weapons are pretty expensive. you have to have permits to rent the guns, money to pay the armorer and permits to film but alot of places don't allow blank firing guns. Airsoft is cheaper in this regard because you can reuse the guns and are only dangerous if you go waving them around in public. Blank - firing guns are dangerous because if something gets lodged in the barrel of the gun and no one notices, when it is fired, whatever was lodged in the barrel of the gun has now become a projectile that could kill someone. Brandon lee died because of this so think about that

I always end up doing this even though I try to be sociable and polite, not antisocial and a complete asshole.

don't forget that you need permits to even use them in most places and there is the expense of having an armorer there to make sure the weapons are clear and safe for people to use. Remember that Brandon Lee died because a piece of debris was lodged in the gun that he played around with, which is another issue that pertains to blank-firing weapons.
1:45 you can see that it is the airsoft pisrol because of the small hole for BBs and a gas nozzle (on the magazine) Annnnd you can see that it os an airsoft rifle because the magazine is in the handguard section of the rifle and not right beside the trigger guard

Der Finger sollte nur an den Abzug wenn man auch wirklich schießt 2. Das mit der Pistole habe ich nicht so recht verstanden. Die Munition wird entfernt, aber dann ist sie auf einmal wieder voll?

Ja der ghillie ist von hand gemacht, war aber derzeit noch nicht fertig :) Der Film ergibt eigendlich garkeinen Sinn wen wir ehrlich sind, damals als wir drehten sollte eigendlich nur ein Testvideo entstehen weil wir damals unsere erste kamera kauften. Aber es ist halt doch ein kurzfilm geworden, ein schlechter ich weiß :D Wir filmen sowiso noch einen 2ten wo wir alles organisieren ect. Damals war alles spontan :) Lg

1:45 you can see that it is the airsoft pisrol because of the small hole for BBs and a gas nozzle (on the magazine)
Annnnd you can see that it os an airsoft rifle because the magazine is in the handguard section of the rifle and not right beside the trigger guard

Falls ihr in Zukunft mehr Authentizität haben wollt hätte ich ein paar Anmerkungen(ist aber überhaupt nicht böse gemeint).
1. Der Finger sollte nur an den Abzug wenn man auch wirklich schießt
2. Das mit der Pistole habe ich nicht so recht verstanden. Die Munition wird entfernt, aber dann ist sie auf einmal wieder voll?

Ja der ghillie ist von hand gemacht, war aber derzeit noch nicht fertig :)
Der Film ergibt eigendlich garkeinen Sinn wen wir ehrlich sind, damals als wir drehten sollte eigendlich nur ein Testvideo entstehen weil wir damals unsere erste kamera kauften.
Aber es ist halt doch ein kurzfilm geworden, ein schlechter ich weiß :D
Wir filmen sowiso noch einen 2ten wo wir alles organisieren ect.
Damals war alles spontan :)

Wow.The next time you do this please learn something about snipers.(by the way ,was that really a sniper in your movie?I doubt so.those giving positive reviews read below what's wrong:-
1.No sniper school in the world will recommend you to use so shiny a rifle.It would be toned with mud,wrapped with straps and grasses and vegetation will be added to camouflage it.
2. No sniper would leave his weapon like that behind enemy lines.
3.Its no wonder that he couldn't kill the enemy with so small a knife
4.Snipers always works in pairs-Shooter and spotter.
5.The way he moves compromises his camouflage.
6.His pistol was too damn shiny.
7.he should have used a silencer for pistol.
8.after getting hit he would have immediately patched up his wound instead of doing those sentimental s**ts.
SO NO WONDER HE GOT KILLED.

Snipers don't always have a spotter, it depends on the mission. mostly marksmans are the ones that use spotters, not snipers.
