I didn't know this comic existed until several months ago while dollar bin diving. I just bought it for the Silvestri art but was disappointed when I saw he didn't do even half the book! I wanted to see how Silvestri drew Batman because that new mini series he's doing for DC was about to come out and barely got to see it in this.
I have this book. I was a little disappointed on the fact Silvestri wasn't there for the long run. But it grew on me considering it had Silverstri and Finch - both I like as an artist and th fact it had both Darkness and Batman in one book. It was a cool book for me. I still myself flipping into it if I find the time.
I suppose it depends on one’s perspective of a "good comic". One may be the superior artist, but if they fail to complete a comic, are they really the better comic artist? I wouldn’t consider a person a good mechanic, unless they complete their jobs. That doesn’t make them unknowledgeable, but I can’t drive home on one’s understanding of a fished engine. That said, I’d gladly accept a fraction of either of their talents.
@@someonesane Silvestri just finished a Batman mini-series. It took him 7 years to draw. Finch put out dozens of comics in that time. None of those will be held in anywhere near as much esteem as Silvestri's Batman series. It's Applebees vs Noma.
I remember The Darkness. He was pretty popular at one point. He even had his own video game.
Yeah it was really popular for a minute.
And the lead singer from Faith No More did the voice for the Darkness
@@johnnorton3288 that's cool 😎
I just wish it wasn't a first-person game

Watch out for women with big hands.
Another comic I bought because the art that I didn't actually read.
I wish Marc would do a run on Wonder Woman (wuth Chris Claremont or Tom Taylor writing)
That would be awesome for sure
This David Finch guy is a good artist but Silvestri should have done the whole book. Can't wait to see you rip on another Batman team-up comic 😂
I was so pissed he only did 6 pages. Gah!
I liked this crossover, not to familiar with the darkness but I have read this crossover & the darkness pitt are the only ones I'm familiar with
After a while??
It was stupid from day one. ;)
Finch might be better then Silvestri...
In my opinion…. Its not close. Silvestri is way better. BUT. Finch puts out work more consistently. But im a silvestri guy for sure
Naw dude.

@@marczwaneveld2663 - glad to hear it. Doesn’t entirely change my point.
