I'm a parent of a child who is currently using these types of braces. We don't have to deal with rubber bands or be worried about him getting body lips from those cheap braces. We made it a point to get something that will work but will also be safer and look appealing. Now if you don't see the benefit of everything we saw then get the cheaper ones.
