I was screaming at the video. The 3bar pressure reducing valve has disintegrated and the bits are stuck in the line lower. Good video. It happens all the time, day gets long when you expect to be there around an hour. I prefer an additional expansion vessel to the built in gap
The ‘old grey council house’ is exactly that……it’s called “affordable housing” which every developer of the scale of this one has to provide (normally up to 30% of the total dwellings built in order to secure the planning consent from the council to build the entire estate). It’s basically a pay-off to help buy a planning permission, hence they are built to lower/cheaper standards and have no kerb appeal (generally, compared to the other houses around them). Talk about stigma when trying to keep up with the Jones’.
@@thisoldcottage its so grim to make it like that, i have family in social housing… on a new build! I know the interior like the bathroom is completely different but the outside is exactly the same as the private houses on the estate
Good work in solving the crime and what paste do you use on the pipework as i have been using Fernox jointing compound and it doesnt spread as smoothly as what ever you use
18:55 I would be changing that non return valve if I found a part floating around inside it , if it does fail it will track up the feed and cross contaminat the cold main, but it's your call your g3 ticket
The houses with bricked up Windows are called fog,a flat over a garage, the rows of link houses might be housing association houses on all new build housing developments they have to build so many of them it's law,
4:10 - EVERY TIME ITS THE SAME! “This is the way out 100% - oh it’s a dead end - FUCK IT” My guess is- £55 And the back window film is getting droopier by the day. Oh yeah, that’s not a megaflow.
There should always be a non return valve on feed to unvented cylinder its part of the g3 regs there just normally fitted inside inlet group valve sorry but i had to be that guy lol
And it's the valve before the prv also known as the expansion relief valve no pressure that on the cylinder temperature and pressure relfe prof to look at your books pal the order of Val 're is isolation, strainer, pressure reducing valve balanced cold, non return, prv,

At least 10% of new houses have to be set aside for social housing so could be that.
