I did have an emotional turmoil during last game, who wouldn’t after that horrible loss. But we are a good team, people should attend and watch the games. People should be excited we are back to our 2019 form. Now we going 13-3 maybe probably not, but we are back to that top defense and top offense team. Using stats this early doesn't matter because we had two big games against bad teams. Most of these games are won by 3. If we can't win close games stats really don't matter.
The gross incompetence in both games are either Kubiak or Dennis Allen for going for it on four down passing the field goals two games in a row and we lose both games but under three points kick the field goal win the close games

EPA and all of the analytics looks good for the first 55 mins of the games. But when it comes to late game winning drives Allen gets out coached and out schemed his play call isn’t good on defense. But analytics will tell you defense played great.
I think the difference is that the Ravens are fresh out of the AFC championship and have superbowl winning coach. We’ve been seeing this for 3 years already while the ravens have proven that the way they are composed can compete at the highest level
I unfollowed AFR last year. I still check in from time to time to hear the latest from the drama queen. The only way I listen to the whole session is through James now. James, react to the State of the Saints podcast. Negativity abounds there but he calls it being “real.”

Whoever said numbered dont lie must have been a liar. Those first two games are why any of those we looked like the best team for two weeks now we dont. Ravens are better than the Saints and Lamar is better than Derek Carr. Those "DVOA" sats are inflated because of those week 1 and two performances, and you know that.

I agree fully with what you're saying that the stats back up the Saints being a good team this year...what I am wondering (genuinely because I am not a stats guy and it's a lot of research) is do these stats historically and consistently show that top 5-10 teams in these categories make the playoffs year in and year out? I would imagine it's probably the case but it would be interesting to see laid out.

Using stats this early doesn't matter because we had two big games against bad teams. Most of these games are won by 3. If we can't win close games stats really don't matter.

I think the difference is that the Ravens are fresh out of the AFC championship and have superbowl winning coach. We’ve been seeing this for 3 years already while the ravens have proven that the way they are composed can compete at the highest level

They hate DA for that and hated Carr more when DA actually made the “mistake” of taking up for his own QB last year. And then that base jumped on the Rattler bandwagon. We are 100% better than we were last year and I grant that to carr and kubiak.
I love the positivity about the saints but the easy reason that the Ravens get more respect for being 2-2 is they have been to the playoffs every year. We have a recent history of being mediocre. That’s why when our record is 2-2 we get the sky is falling. The sky has been falling since 2020.

Ravens are better than the Saints and Lamar is better than Derek Carr. Those "DVOA" sats are inflated because of those week 1 and two performances, and you know that.

Carr had a good game in my view. That pass that bounced up in the air landed directly in the hands of that Falcon player. To me that's just bad luck. The Shaheed play, otoh, was gross incompetence.
