Even if this video was sponsored I have to say it was a miracle. Our dog had chemo yesterday, came home and didn’t eat at all. We asked the oncologist for a prescription of Entyce and within an hour he ate his favorite treats and a bowl of food. Then he ate again at night. He is energized, playful and happy. Cerenia KILLED my cat!! I will NEVER give one of my pets a pharmaceutical medication again! My cat had intestinal lymphoma and was was eating wel, but frequently vomiting , so I very hesitantly gave her a dose of cerenia, and within a week she was dead! Why??? Stopped her from eating and she had a neurologic reaction where her pupils were extremely dilated and she couldn't walk straight! I worked with the homeopathic doctor and we tried to reverse the effects of the drug but it did not work in time! So why don't you stop recommending drugs that can kill a pet? It absolutely infuriates me, and when I mentioned it to the emergency doctor he didn't even let me get my sentence out and he said no that's not possible! Like I'm some kind of an idiot? You can Google " "Cerenia killed my cat" and you will find story after story of the same problem!! Vets need to start working for their pets and owners and stopped working for big Pharma!

Thank you so much for these great tips. They encouraged me to keep trying with the medications for a few days before panicking.
Appetite stimulant is not working on my dog. We were told to switch him to a hydrolyzed diet, and now he eats even less and instead of mild diarrhea, he has full diarrhea. He is on folic, anti biotic, and we are giving him an injection for vitamin B deficiency. I can tell he is hungry. His stomach rumbles, and when I ask if he is hungry, he licks his lips. The ONLY thing he likes is Kirkland Greenies. Sometimes string cheese. We used the dental chews to get him to eat his food, by acting very happy when he ate, and then giving him one. We normally give him a cooked chicken breast with safflower oil. Now..being on all these medicines including appetite stimulant, he won't eat. Barely wanted his Kirkland Greenie. He has been kn the medications for 1.5 weeks. The Dr wants to do a endoscopy, and also insists the medicines shouldn't be giving him more diarrhea. Well then it's got to be the hydrolyzed kibble right?

Thank you Dr Sue, I was making some of these mistakes. Today after 2 weeks dealing with syringe feeding my dog who stopped eating, I simply used all of the meds given. Sucraflate, Cerenia and Entyce. My dog finally ate a dish of food on his own. Your video was very helpful.
Did you blend the food
Perfect timing . Our dog (who is 13 1/2) has a suspicious growth which the Vet thinks is cancer. She is on a metronomic treatment. Her appetite is not good at times. We give her Cerenia. It is a miracle!!!!
Not sure why, but Entyce is not working for my dog. She’s been on it for 9 days now, and is indifferent to food. She has kidney displasia that worsened after we had her spayed.
Thank you so much for this information. I went to the vets in my area, THEY are all ANGELES OF DEATH! They only wanted to put my dog down because of a cancer tumor. They prescribed antibiotics and pain meds of about 2 months. I am sure that's what killed his appetite. We will try to get this meds and try them. God's blessings for you for trying help us.
i have elura for my ckd cat and i lost the syringe that i was using so i have a 1.0 ml syringe its a skinny small syringse and it says to give 0.7 not sure where this is at on this syringe
Hi Dr. Sue my dog was acting off last week and wouldn't eat. I took her to the vet and after blood work came back somewhat normal they put her on a antibiotic for possible Pancreatitus,and gave her a bag of Subcutaneous fluids,and Entyce for her appitite loss and was feeling great when we left the Vet. She started to decline the next day so I brought her back and they discovered that she had pyometra and had emergency surgery that day. It's been six days since the operation and she has improved alot in that time,but only gained appitite after taking Entyce. It took about three hours to work but every day she has eaten more and even ate her real dog food without anything added. She does not seem to have an appitite of her own yet without the enhancment. I'm very concerned because I would like to see her eat on her own again. how long is it safe for her to be on this product? Your Video was very informative and helpful, and I have my follow up visit tomorrow...
Hi, I bought Respreaze for my cats cold. Its a tincture and tastes very bad. The directions said put 2 drops in 5ml water. Yeah right, my cat wasn’t going to fall for that and anyway how can you make a cat or dog drink? So eventually I figured out a way. She was on small capsules for her disease that went down great with a pill popper, so I bought the same size veggie caps in bulk. Now how do I stop them from melting immediately? I put the tip of my coffee thermometer into coconut oil, stick it inside the long side of the capsule and gently rub it around to coat. Oil doesn’t melt the cap. Then eye drop in the tincture , quickly put the other half on and into the pill popper and down my cats back of her mouth. Viola’. Could work for this liquid too!!!!
Thank you for letting us know that perhaps a dose or two of Entyce may not necessarily do the trick to see one’s dog start to eat on their own and/or a bit more.
Hi,good afternoon. I have a 15 years old shihtzu with poor appetite.. my vet recommended Entyce, for 4 days..the problems it the Entyce cause him vomit and nausea..I don't know what to do..

My sufferers from number 2.
She will eat any human food if you let her, but when it comes to her bowl, she just smells and walks away. She will only eat it at the end of the night if I want her to eat during the daytime, I have to hand feed her. I am definitely going to try a food simulator now. Why can’t we use the Pet Tumor Tracker app in the US?! Our three dogs have had so many lumps mapped by our vet but we’re spending extra time, worry, and money bringing them in extra times because we can’t recall which lumps have been mapped and deemed skin tags or cysts, and which are new lumps needing to be checked out. There are so many we can’t keep track and we NEED this app!
Help!!!! I know Entyce works on my dog Sarge but he turns into Cujo when I try to shoot this in his mouth. He came home on it from the animal hospital where they obviously also difficulty with him since he had some the stuff on his head. He is a medium size pit bull mix, very strong. The first time I tried Sarge growled and shook most of it out of his mouth but what he did get helped him. The second time he was more on guard and aggressive and I had to hold off. The third time I enlisted the help of my dog sitter but it was very traumatic. Again some got to him but now he is extremely wary of me and it's sad.
Can this be put in food? Will it hurt him or just be ineffective if given that way? ??? My dog will take anything wrapped in low salt turkey breast.

My cat has a feeding tube due to not eating solid food for nearly a month. The vets have prescribed countless antibiotics and medicine for his FUO and The latest one was Mirtazipine. We tried it for 3 days and he still isn’t interested in eating. He is very unstable on his feet and keeps going to the bathroom in random places now. The vets have said that they’re out of ideas and so I’m not sure what to do. I hope that stopping the meds will help his appetite
Have you try cbd or cbg oil?

How long can you give entyce for? Can they live on it?
Is there entyce in pill form? My dog spits everything after I give it to her. Pills are easier to put it inside cheese or little piece of sausage.
Unfortunately Entyce is only liquid
My cat is either very “picky” or has some undiagnosed illness. I’ve tried 100s of different types of foods, human food, and taking her to the vet for tests - nothing yet and becoming frustrated. Plus I’m worried since she’s losing weight.

Our cat has been loosing weight and has mostly stopped eating besides maybe munching for a a couple of minutes on a new food he will never touch again. He’s on all three, Elura, Mirataz and Cerenia though low doses of each and the Cerenia has pretty much ran out. I’m feeding him by syringe daily, Royal Canin prescription food and Nutri-Cal but it’s a challenge to get him to accept even half of what he should be getting. Have another vet appointment on Wednesday and hope to get him down to a lower number of more effective drugs as right now they have taken a shotgun approach.
Where can I get these apatite stimulants?
My pit bull was diagnosed with cancer and he drinks a ton of water He does urinate soon afterward The vet sent some antibiotic injections but I feel he s getting worse Not eating much of anything This Cerenia sounds like it might work to get his appetite back

My cat would not eat but was still drinking a little water. He kept vomiting a clear liquid. He was given a nausea shot and I believe a hydration shot. That stopped the vomiting but did not bring back his appetite so he was prescribed Ondansetron and was back eating withing 30 minutes of taking the first dose.
This is exactly what is happening to my cat.. how is your cat now? I am so stressed out 😢
@@netterz3411 He's fine now he got the nausea shot and medicine to bring back his appetite. I tried a holistic remedy but that didn't work so I had to take him to the vet. Most of the time holistic meds work on my cats, but I think he got a hold of some houseplants.

My girl Quinn has Lymphoma. She wasn't eating. I thought that was it for her last Saturday. She's 13½.
I cooked chicken legs and thighs with broccoli. Added reishi mushrooms, ginger, turmeric, coconut oil, cinnamon, green tea and matcha ... I blended everything up using chicken broth as liquid. I used a Boba straw and syringe and force-fed her. Within 3 days she was eating on her own and drinking water again. The lymph nodes are almost completely normal again. I then added Panacur. 3 days on and 4 off. She's gained her weight back and is sassy and happy again. I know I can't make her live forever but I'm not letting starve.
I will no longer feed my dogs kibble as their main diet, but only to ensure they get balanced nutrients and something crunchy for their teeth.
But cats can’t go five days without eating.

My dog has been unwell for the last two weeks. In the past 4/5 days she has been excreting diarreah with blood and refusing all sorts of food. We have been going to our vet everyday and they have ruled out any sign of infection after doing some x-rays and an ultrasound. She has done a biopsy which we are still awaiting the results for. We were told that she most likely has lymphoma. Shes been under supervision of our vet and put on IV drip as she isnt eating anything. We were given anti-nausea tablets and a paste that hardens her feces. However, since shes not eating any food, the paste isnt super helpful right now. She started steroids this morning and is still refusing food. We have given her another dose of steroids, as advised from our vet, and she still wont eat. We asked about medication that would increase her apetite but were told that it might have some behavioural side affects. We we're also told that if she doesn't eat anything while on steroids its a really bad sign. Me and my family are trying everything to get her to eat by offering her her favourite foods but she spits anything that goes into her mouth. Her diarreah hasnt gooten better and she is still exreting blood.
Is there anything we can do to get her to eat some fort of food?

What about if vet wont suggested or provide the medication, i have been adviced by vet to change food but she still does not eat a lot , or sometimes she refuses, no problem with her health but she is skinny! Under weight you can see the hips bones and ribs.

My dog is undergoing chemotherapy, 2 sittings done but now he won't eat anything. Just plain water is all he eat.What should I do?
I hope your dog is doing better now. When my 17 yr old not drink enough, I tried warm the water a little bit in the microwave, she drank it; or I boiled organic chicken breast for 10 min(do not see pick liquid any more), the water only cover half of the chicken, then keep the broth, my cat will eat the chicken and drink the broth. She can get more water that way.
Just subscribe, my 12 year old cocker spaniel just diagnosed with cancer , kidney disease and thyroid problems! I can’t stop crying 😢! My vet has her on entyce, pain medication! She won’t eat or drink water ! But now she will need more doses, please do a video on how to get them to drink water ! Thank you have a blessed day

What do you do if your cat throws up immediately after giving them elura? I mixed it with tuna liquid and she still threw up. She hasnt eaten for 2+ weeks - she was on IV fluids this past weekend and eats treats on occasion but refuses dry and wet food. I tried syringe feeding but she hated that. She was just diagnosed with cancer.
I make my cat boiled chicken , carrots , green beans and sometimes put boil egg yolk with a little water on it . The only thing I can get him to eat . He has CKD . He is also on Mirtazapine which increases the appetite and thirst . No seasoning important .

At least disclose this is Sponsored by Entyce..... BTW dogs can have extremely negative reactions to this medication. Follow your vet's advice and not an online med promotion. Dose is VERY IMPORTANT, and make sure your dog is not constipated or else the medication will not be eliminated. If your dog looks Half dead after Entyce, don't try it again. It's great foe some pets, for others it's dangerous. Your vet is paid by YOU, not by the pharma company.
Entyce absolutely made my car feel WORSE
I've been using Mirataz on my cat for 3 days. It isn't making any difference.
To say that entyce tastes bad is a little bit of an understatement. My Labradoodle acts like you've poured hot lava down his throat when I give it to him. I would definitely recommend not giving it any time near feeding time, so they don't associate that taste with their food. I still used it, but to be honest, I am not sure if it did anything. My vet only gave me a 4 day supply. He's eating now, but I attribute that to switching him to a white rice and chicken diet for a few days to get him started back on his eating cycle.
