Those fire fighters definetly would have died from asphyxiation in that inclosed space 3.) Moving trucks around (a source of ignition) is way more dangerous than just leaving it 4.) Hydrogen burns with an almost invisible flame and definetly no black smoke (no carbon to make soot) 5.) Liquid hydrogen is stored at -253 degrees C so those fire extinguishers are utterly pointless 6.) It was probably venting and would have been fine if it was just left in reality. Those tanks are well insulated and wouldn't just explode because of a leak. On the contrary they explode if they CAN'T vent when the warm up to much
The 2 most unrealistic thing here are the time it takes to explode, the cooling goes on your liquid hydrogen tank and You're looking at seconds before it goes. And secondly the lack of Ice forming on that valve.
The ice forming on the valve was the only realistic part about this clip. They didn't even warn the citizens away from the windows or evacuate the area as should be done with an explosion risk.
"When the whistling stops, kaboom!" I'm pretty sure that "whistling" is just the pressure relief valve venting the expanding hydrogen... meaning when the whistling stops, the tank just becomes empty.

Althought this is one of my favourite clips, i have unliked this one as we already got this clip, this one is just without them talking to the press, looking forward of the clips of casy escaping a fire at his apartment, and one hes trapped in a factory with a girl and her dad, over a acid spill, Or any other clips apart from duplicates.

In reality, Liquid Hydrogen is not that explosive. It will absolutely burn, but it won't spontaneously explode.
