I got so pissed off waiting for Rolex that I went and got a Omega 300m Tokyo edition. Having owned the previous Sub. I am not disappointed in Omega at all.
That blue white combo is amazing and with the 2020 but actually 2021 I think it’ll be a great watch for the future to remind us all what we went through the last 18months... great choice but I’ve got a white dial omega dive watch already so two would be a little over kill

However, the fact that nothing on the dial I went with it. I also liked the idea of a 2020 watch for a games that was delayed. A COVID watch. 😂

As a previous owner of the Hulk, the new Starbucks is more livable. The Hulk became way too much green for me after a few years. The new Starbucks is spot on perfect in color, design and function.
I actually really like starbucks as nickname. It's in line with the beverage or superhero theme, and it's a distinct enough watch from the Kermit to not be called Kermit/New Kermit/Cermit etc.
Me too but my thoughts went south when I tried the sub 40 ceramic and 41 ! The watch too heavy, large and screaming pretentious. Maybe am old fart that only rolex I want is any 36mm black dial rolex no matter what is it ( explorer, OP or DJ)

@@watchandrew belive it or not:ordered it on November 13th. AD told me that i‘ll have to wait at least 1.5 years. On November 30th i got the call. Die to Otter projects i had to turn it down. So in total it took me a half year to get it. Guess my AD likes me 🙂

Since I watched this video 3 months ago, I put in a request to my AD to get a non Date Sub 124060. I got the call from my AD to pick up the watch after 5 months wait. All l can say is the watch is stunning and worth the price. So fortunate to pick this up at Retail. I do have a spend history…with other brands though purchasing watches I already loved.
Bought it absolutely love it, I'm a GMT guy though so I'm a sucker for a black dial with a colored bezel. Keeping in tune with the superhero Batman, Hulk nicknames I call my Pepsi, Spidy/Spiderman and I don't call this one either the Cermit or the Starbucks, to me this green, black and steel combo is the Dr. Doom. I broke the addiction bit by bit . I felt that it was a bit ridiculous how it consumes your thoughts and drains your bank balance . I’m now at a point where I still have a good collection but they are in the watch box and I just dont feel any need to go near them . Briefly tried a watch on last weekend lasted two mins as felt my wrist was more comfortable without it . Still like dipping into you tube though to hear the crac,
Biggest problem for me now (apart from actually affording one!) would be that these are going for 15k it has got to the point where I’d be uncomfortable wearing it outside. Stunning watch and an icon but the prices and investment means more people are putting them unworn in safety deposit boxes now. Stunning piece though - It’s the new Kermit for me - cannot get onboard with Starbucks either! Another Good video Andrew
Great video. Picked up the new Batman with Oyster bracelet a week ago after waiting 3.5 years! Now waiting for the Pepsi since 2 years and the Cermit since 6 months. You gotta have patience but it was worth it. Do you prefer the Hulk or the new Cermit? Subscribed and upvoted.

I was in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago looking at watches. I had on the black sub and the seller had on the Cermit . He let me try it on . Beautiful watch but for me the black is a better everyday option . Keep up the good work Andrew

Not sure I'd pay retail for it, much prefer the hulk. Got a seiko spb051 and to be honest , this seiko is just as well made as my Swiss watches, and still looks mint after 3 years of wearing it. I only paid £675 for it , nearly new too. No way is a rolex 10x better, that's for sure !!! Tried on the globemaster The other day on leather, gorgeous watch, but it should be slimmer . I also tried it on the bracelet, but I definitely think it looked better on the leather. Sorry m8.
The green dial is what makes the Hulk special. The green bezel frames it but isn’t dynamic. I’ll hold judgement unit I hold the Starbucks but no movement in the dial or bezel doesn’t do it for me. Get the Hulk and and you e got both.
Can`t say I like the green as that colour can restrict what you wear it with unless don`t care about colours clashing. I have a two tone black Submariner that goes with everything.

When you butt that crown against the polished case side - ouch! My first gen ceramic sub date is quickly becoming my one watch. Paid retail in 2015. As for paying 4K over list for the black version or £8K over for the green version, balls to that idea.
I do actually prefer the older version with maxi lugs, but all subs are just amazing so wouldn’t turn any of them down, over retail?? Well I would a bit but not double that is just silly if you ask me??

As for Tudors I've bought a few from Listers and Ernest Jones in the Whiterose centre, Liam has always been professional and helpful....

Rolex Hulk Collection selling at the Bonhams auction August 12-22? Each watch is certified unworn with boxes and papers. They're offering a model from each year it was produced from 2010-2020. This is unheard of and should be very interesting.
Love this watch and would definitely buy it, if I could. I think Rolex have great value and quality, but at retail. As frustrating as it is to buy via AD, I am not certain double the price, for some models, is worth it.
As a yorkshireman I would never pay over retail, I have 4 rolex and I have been lucky enough to get them all at either msrp or below over the last 5 years.

Nice Sub but why the hell would you butt the Omega watch crown against the Sub risking scratching the case side..? Not very respectful considering you were loaned the watch for review.

Sure but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt as l assume the watch still had its protective plastic on the side. If it didn’t and if it was my watch, l would be sweating seeing someone do that to my watch..!
The responsibility of looking after someone’s else’s expensive watch is not taken lightly…. I always take the up most care of it….. no watches were harmed in the making of this video 🎥 💯😁
