    Own the same car, got it back from a service today. Was shocked by the costs of it. Next time I’ll do it myself, thanks to this vid.
    Btw, they billed me for 4 plugs. So I will visit them 1 last time and get a little money back. 😏

    Am i correct that you put in the plugs, tighten them loosley. then the video cuts. and you tighten them strongly. Or are you doing something else?

    • @YZJB

      On the box it says to turn them 1/2-2/3 of a turn after they are seated. You can also feel the washer crushing

      Exacto, uno mismo es más cuidadoso que muchos apretatornillos que rompen todo lo que tocan y en vez de arreglar , estropean , no digo que alguno sea cuidadoso y honesto, pero hay muchos que no van sino a ver si pueden sacar tajada, eso lo haces tú mismo con menos dinero que el que te cobran ellos y que conste que no hablo por la mayoría sino por algunos chapuzas.

    Does anyone know if you can use the sparkplugs from the Up TSI/GTI? Because these have the iridium sparkplugs but something is 1mm shorter than for the MPI engines.

    Why is this going so easy, i have a really hard time removing the Coils, cant get them out, Any tips ?

    • @YZJB
      @YZJB  3 года назад

      The coils can get stuck on the spark plugs. You just have to pull harder until they pop off

    • @1951split
      @1951split 3 года назад

      @@YZJB I did just that but i ended up with a coil in my hand and the rubber still in the head... "Just pull harder" doesn't always work.

    Greetings from India! I have a VW Polo which has the same CHYB engine. I assume it runs on the same plugs mentioned here. That said I have been wanting to try some iridium ones. Could you please recommend/suggest the iridium replacement for NGK ZKER6A-10EG?

    • @YZJB

    I have seen 2 videos today, where people just remove the first hose to the left of the airfilter box with ease lol. I can not even move it a mm, even with a tool. Its like its glued to the box.
