“I swear if he makes something with the theory machine(or something idk) I’m outta here!” Me: Wally Frank’s catchphrase I love that ❤️ Matpat: *triggered*
Am I the only 1 who saw that segment of the video showing the same person being repeatedly fed into & spat out of the titular Ink Machine & immediately thought ...hmmm, cartoonish metaphor / portrayal of the Karmic Cycle / Wheel of Reincarnation from Buddhism?
You know there is a recording in chapter 3 where Wally complains about how no one but him ever cracks a smile..I bring this up because look at Bendy's face. Nothing is visible other than one large smile. Bendy never stops smiling no matter what. Even if you do something that should annoy him such as escaping. I'm surprised Game Theorists didn't call attention to that. Now that the game's final chapter is out we know that it officially isn't Wally. But perhaps it was in the beginning and they simply changed their mind during production.
Or Wally is Boris? Kinda funny how Matpat disregards his own theory of there being more than one of each character (In the same episode mind you), and assumes that only... One person is Boris despite there being... Two living Boris's? (Or Boris' or Bori or whatever).
In chapter 3 suzie/alice said "i wont let the ink demon touch me AGAIN" so its possible alice/suzie looked perfect but it was BENDY who made her like that idk
It means she got killed as a searcher then bendy dragged her into the ink machine and made her that Alice we see In chapter 3. “I won’t let the ink demon touch me AGAIN” really means, I won’t let the ink demon drag me into the ink machine again. And we do she her as a searcher in chapter 2. In the place we play Sammy’s old song. And see saw evil in us so when we left he knocked us out. And why he tied us up, but bendy saw greatness in us so he knocked out Sammy. And why we see him in chapter 5 Perfectly fine but angry we left him. I don’t know if it true but it was worth a try
a petagram that has the tip of the star obviously pointing down summons demons, as you can fit a goat head in it, but if the star is pointing up, it repells them, as you can fit an angel in it.
I saw the thumbnail and was like "Oh yeah, there's a nice Alice and an evil one, there's probably going to be the same for Bendy. Probably the protagonist."
So basically, because your theory came out and made so much sense for something that was completely wrong that the devs didn't intend, they said "oops" and redid everything using your video as a blueprint. Wow. Bravo devs for being very careful and calculating with everything. And also paying close attention to what the fans want.
Alice/Susie: Do you know what it’s like, living in the dark puddles? Me: Goes outside, dumps muddy/dark water on the ground, jumps on it(hoping to somehow completely submerge me). Ya, I do!
I mean, it makes sense. When you die, you clearly see being reborn (aka respawned) inside of ink machine. Not only that but you respawm next to BENDY statues.
Notice how whenever the player dies, there is a death scene whereby they are sent through what seems like a vortex of ink & whispers - one could even say that it's a "buzzing, screaming well of voices"; exactly what Alice Angel describes in her little speech. If MatPat's theory is right, then that means that corrupted Bendy is getting the player's lifeless body & throwing it back into the Ink Machine for them to be reborn, also meaning that the scene represents the player emerging from the tube protruding from the machine. To me, it seems like there's no other reason for the death scene to play: it's definitely not a loading screen & it'd be meaningless if it wasn't, so I can therefore conclude that the player (whether if they really _are_ perfect Bendy or not) have to be some form of ink creature.
Good point.... But wouldnt that mean that the game has not ended? Surely there is something the player eventually becomes. If you are in fact the True Bendy, you would be able to beat Evil Bendy (according to MatPat's theory), so how is the game over? There can only be one solution, your not. Evil Bendy has finally won. At least you can respawn right? 😉👍
I have a theory as well. I don’t think Alice/Susie is dead. If you seen the boss battle with Boris, and almost every other enemy you defeat, you see them dissolve into ink. But when Allison “killed” Susie, she did not dissolve into ink. She just collapsed, not dissolving. Even the end card showed her “dead” body surrounded by the Lost ones. So I think she will appear in chapter 5 :) Edit: Yeah you guys are probably right XD. There wasn’t that much evidence for that little theory :v
Further poof, it was said that being reborn was a streaming well of voices. That's what happens when you die, and you are reborn. Maybe, you become bendy when you die the first time, but there could be different endings if you die at all in the game, or run through perfectly.
I think that, the reason you get revived like that is that Wally knows you are the one he needs, so he pulls you into the ink before you ACTUALLY die, and delivers you to your last checkpoint.
Should also note that on their Livestream where they revisited Ch 1-3, they mentioned and showed that a lot of emphasis was put on Henry being short with Sammy bending down to speak to Henry when he's tied up and after Sammy dies(? idk) when Henry is free, his perspective doesn't change much and he's still at around the same height as he was when he was tied up. Another interesting thing that I'd like to point out is the fact that he's also around the same height as the cardboard cut-outs of Bendy.
The flaws here are obvious; for the one thing, the Boris that we hang-out with in Chapter 3, isn't the Tom-Boris that we meet at the end of Chapter 4; it's the Disfigured Boris that Alice makes us fight at the end of the Haunted House ride. (which is kind of disappointing, considering this chapter was built-up around SAVING him.) So regardless, what we knew about the original Boris makes sense for him to be Wally; he still knows enough to dismantle certain mechanics - like the lever for the door - and knows his way while crawling around through the vents; so it makes sense that he's a maintenance man like Wally. In a way though, I think I believe what you say that Henry is "destined" to be the "Perfect Bendy"...but in a lot of ways, I also think that's why Joey - Bendy - is trying to kill him. You have to consider the problem with your theory; if what you say is true, and Joey Drew ISN'T Bendy, then that means that Joey - who is of such SIGNIFICANT importance, to the lore of the game - so far hasn't made a SINGLE appearance. That's just bad story-telling. Plus, in a lot of ways, the Cartoon Character you become in this place sort of represents where you were - your position of power or recognition, or even your actions - during your time working for the company. Susie and Alison both become Alice Angels because they were both tied to the character at one point; but because Susie is overcome with hatred and jealousy towards Alison, her Angel is imperfect and distorted. Norman Polk is the guy who ran the Projection-Booth, so he became the Projectionist; I wonder if it was intentional on his part, as maybe he just came out as a blobby-Ink Person, but attached the projector to his head, because it was so familiar to him in life. Bertrum Piedmont becomes one of the Carnival Rides - the very ride he himself was designing; like something out of a Tim Burton-esque Beauty and the Beast. And Tom and Wally are both maintenance workers and clean-up crew...Effectively their job is to obey orders; to go to each location and do as they are told...Almost like Dogs; plus they're ultimately friendly and loyal - Tom being worried about safety with the Elevators, and Wally never abandoning the place, despite claiming to be "Outta Here." So of course, they'd take the form of Bendy's Sidekick Boris. Sammy and the other workers in the facility are the face-less ones; the ones who didn't have much notoriety or respect. As Sammy himself stated in Chapter 2, no one really appreciates his craft, or considers it work - especially to the point where Joey put a pump to drain the stairwell in his office, meaning that people were constantly coming in and out all day. Plus, I doubt anyone really liked Sammy too much. Because of this, Sammy - like so many others - didn't have enough of an impact to become a distinctive character, and are just trapped as humanoid blobs, desperate to get out... And then there's Joey Drew himself - the head-honcho. The guy who pretends to be all about inspiring people to go for their dreams, while being unable to stomach the platitudes himself; the guy who dreams up plans and ideas and forces others to make them a reality, the guy who steals other people's work in order to promote himself...The guy who built and installed the Ink Machine in the first place... I am certain the reason Joey did this, was in an attempt to escape death, his own weakness, and achieve immortality by becoming his Animated Character Mascot, Bendy. But then, why is he corrupt? Take notice of how the walls will sometimes have, "The Creator Lied to Us." written on them... That's a reference to how Joey took credit for being the creator of Bendy, when all he did was steal it from Henry. The reason that Henry is important, is because he is the TRUE creator of Bendy. Therefore, because Joey lied, the ritual did not work, and his Bendy form is imperfect and deformed...In fact, I believe the reason that Joey collected the Projectionist, is because he is doing much the same that Alice did - he's trying to fix himself; achieve perfection by stealing the Ink and Insides of other ink-character monsters in the building...that's why he goes after Sammy FIRST before attacking you...But at the end of the day, he's still trying to get you - because he believes...something... Consider the fact that this has long since happened before Henry received the letter...and the Ink Machine was turned off. My guess is, that when the Ink stopped flowing, most of the characters were trapped inside the pipes and couldn't escape. Someone had to have turned the Ink Machine off, or maybe the ritual failed because Henry was not present... Maybe that's why Joey sent Henry the letter, asking him to come by the studio and see everything...and that's why Henry had to gather up the items to place on the pedestals to perform the Ink Machine Ritual - he needed to provide something of his OWN in order to properly appease whatever "god" is causing all of this...the bottle of pen ink... Now that the REAL creator has returned, I see one of two possibilities... 1; that Henry will become a Perfect Bendy and manage to save everyone, putting them to rest, like you said... Or 2; that Joey is going to try to use Henry's body - to assimilate him into his Inky-Form in order to become a Perfect Bendy himself.
Please let Matpat see this!!! I had a few issues with his theory (wally being bendy etc.) but I do agree that we will be seeing a perfect Bendy one way or another.)
Omg i think you stole my brain because i was thinking the EXACT same thing. Adding some chocolate chips to the ice cream: 1. Joey Drew = imperfect bendy Henry = perfect I can understand why this is true. Joey is the cruel boss of his studio, so of course he would be an evil version of the main character. Take note that all imperfect souls became evil and all perfect souls became good (yin yang anyone?) so since henry created bendy and probably has the purest of pure souls he became (or will become) the perfect bendy to end this madness. 2. Searcher boss Something i dont think you brung up was the thoughttobe uncanon searcher boss in ch3. He is probably shawn flynn, who is voiced by ya boi (jacksepticeye). You battle the boss in heavenly toys, where he works. He also has the accent, wich kinda makes me think about the tophat. About the miner searcher in ch2, idk. 3. Sammy lawrence Sammy is definetly not the most respected worker. The ink pump was installed into HIS office, so he clearly isnt on joey's good side (not that he has one). He was also faceless, so thats probably why he put the mask of bendy (the ink demon he worships) to honor his "savior" who he didnt know was joey drew. 4. The Projectionist WIP Ill probably add more when i gather more info, definetly when ch5 comes out. As for now, ill go back to trying to get the tommy gun 😡😡😡😡😡😡
Damn, thats a solid theory. MatPat must see this. And as far as i can see, your theory and MatPat's theory can both be true at the same time. I think MatPat should read this and give an update to his theory(or maybe a twitter mension)
Honestly I wasn't surprise that our Protagonist, Henry. Will become the perfect Bendy. Since there were no remaining character logs/characters as we discussed and how they kept trying to find the "perfect Bendy" and fails miserably. So heres a thought that I brought up mid-way through the video. "Well, if all of these employees fail to become the perfect one. How about our protagonist? What would happen if he went through that machine"
I think that Wally Franks may actually be Bendy, but Joey Drew may also be a version of Bendy. In chapter 4 the Bendy that kill the Projectionist knows that Henry is in the Little Miracle station, but doesn’t kill him, he lets him go free. I think that the Bendy that emerges from the Ink Machine in Chapters 1, 2, and 3 is Joey, who is trying to keep everyone in the Workshop, whilst the one in Chapter 4 is Wally Franks, who wants to set everyone free, but cannot do it himself. Also, I think that Sammy may return in Chapter 5 as one of the freedom fighters, who are the team of Reanimated Cartoons that want to take down Joey Drew and set everyone free, and that Wally Franks will be the freedom fighter leader. Also during Chapter 2, Sammy says that we look familiar, I think that he means we look like Bendy, suggesting that after passing out in the end of Chapter 1, Joey Bendy used some of the demonic ink to try and turn us into one of the searchers, but because we drew Bendy, we started to become the perfect form of Bendy, but are still trapped in the ink hub, as possible suggested by the, what I’ll call the Nightmare Sequences, the 3 scenes in the beginning and end of Chapter 4, and the secret in Chapter two using the miner searcher, and the Respawn Sequence.
Chris Creates that's makes a whole lot of sense I was doing some research watching bendy and the ink machine theory's and I pieced some peices together and after this video I got a huge piece of the puzzle and to you
You are you walking through a pin drops nurse you know ink spills everywhere you dead son describe two sliding window the computer hates me I said subscribe thank you the sliding window
Wally franks is the Boris you see turn into the monster Boris you fight at the end of chapter 4. Tom is just like you said, another Boris clone, and since he was probably an imperfect soul he couldn't process his arm, that's why he has a robot arm. And if you read Wally's audio logs, he seems like a pretty nice guy compared to tom, so when he went through the ink machine he became a perfect Boris clone and even Alice says that he's the perfect Boris. I know I might be wrong, but that's what I think.
Step bros. Gaming plus it makes sense that Wally and Tom have the same job so they would be the same character aka boris, the same with susie and allison, so it makes sense for the two bendys to be Henry and Joey.
Also, wally can't go get his keys because sammy occupies that zone, if he were bendy, he would of had no problem (Btw this probibly means sammy not ded)
There is an easter egg that you can discover by re-playing chapter 3 If you give a bone, that you find in the chapter, to Boris ,he keeps the bone through the rest of the game So in chapter 4 he should also keep the bone, which happens If you give him the bone , it appears at the mouth of the monster Boris ,which confirms they are the same Boris
I think the real reason why joey drew invited Henry back to the studio was joey realized the mistakes that he has done and overall thought that Henry would be the perfect person to save the studio and them by being the perfect bendy.
I think Joey Drew invited him there so Henry could turn on the ink machine, because the others are dead waiting to be brought back to life by the ink machine with Boris from chapter 3 being Wally franks, and good Boris from chapter 4 being Tomas Conner and Joey Drew being ink bendy!
i agree wally can still be boris just not mecha boris we see in ch 4 i guess he becomes the perfect boris in ch 2 and 3 and the Frankenboris in ch 4 since you can easily beat it with a plunger a tool of a janitor... mind blown
Yeah. Henry sends the ink machine to destroy the company would make him demon bendy anyway. Which leads me to think that i have spotted a plothole in this theory. Also, why would wally be bendy? Just, doesnt make sense. Maybe the 2 Borises are 2 different people. Thomas connor (new boris) and Wally franks as the old boris.
Twighlightmoon Henry stuck in a time loop. If you go play through the chapters again and use the looking glass thing, there are a lot message that support the time loop theory. It’s actually quite sad. Joey sent Henry to his doom.
OceanOtter that's what I was thinking, but Matpat's theory makes more sense. Who else would Bendy be? He attacked us at first, probably out of anger about what we did. Later,he leaves us alone cuz he maybe realized we could be the perfect Bendy that saves them
a theory roaming online is that heavy-ink boris was just a normal boris copy and not a principal character due to the lack of body left behind like all of the other characters we have seen turned into a cartoon. if you play through the game you will come to find only the searchers and the butcher gang (Sometimes) actually dissipate into ink. every other ink creature even tenuously connected to a person leaves behind a body. It can not even be argued that it is only under certain conditions or people the body is spared due to all of the Boris and bg corpses. my personal theory is that the "thicker" the ink is, or the closer to a character the being is is completely reliant on how much of the same personality reconnected. Making the caracters who leave bodies perfect or not are the ones with their personalities mkstly intact. making it so that if the boris even was the same one we interacted with the personality inside is too fragmented to really be called truthfully wally franks
That is so far the most logical, as there is clear proof that the Boris from chapter 3 is the same Boris that we fight in chapter 4 If you give Boris a bone in chapter 3, he will still have that same bone in his mouth in the final battle, indicating that the Boris we knew is dead.
In many lore, pentagrams are actually meant for protection (trapping demons, sending them to hell, ect). In other lore, they are meant and made to summon demons. In many lore, they are meant for both. Just wanted to mention that.
That's interesting, maybe Joey got trapped inside the pentagram by the employes for turning them into monsters and he will be released in the last chapter... But hey, that's just a theory
Red Red The pentagram represents the 4 elements: Fire,Water,Earth, and Wind. The 5th point represents Spirit and is meant to be a symbol of good luck. Not sure why lore states it protects against demons when nothing can stop a demon from ripping you apart if it wants to. I guess humanity just thinks the most evil beings in the universe can be stopped with a hunk of metal shoved in front of their face.
Matpad is right about it not been a pentagram, and you are somewhat correct with it been meant to trap. Summoning isn't necessarily unleashing. It truly depends on what the individual practicing does, and how. Circles are enclosures to limit what is within it from been reached or, from leaving. Now, about the ink machine game, it isn't a pentagram because anyone who thinks that's all it takes or, that's the only method is foolish. There are other symbols inside that circle however. The pentagram like any other symbol is that; and, what it represents is neutral as all other symbols are. The "good" and "evil" is the collection of ideas "summoning" the energy (spirit). About the game, it likely is an emblem made up of symbols that further connect the story line. Abut real life, FEAR is the only main gate for "demons" or "bad energy" "bad spirits", however you want to associate it, to manifest, and they can only enter a ready vessel aka body. So, the best tool against the evil of the world is to reject empowering the enemy (like calling them powerful, which is BS), and two, embrace the thoughts and activities that stimulate hope, strength, enthusiasm, etc. -- aka positivity/love. PS: Love, not to be confused with pleasure/lust which stems from greed - which stems from fear.
From what I know (and from what was stated in this video) is that Joey Drew was perfect with Henry, but as soon as Henry left, Joey became worried about his studio, which leads to the point that he got the Ink Machine. He was so obsessed with the creations that were made by Henry, that he started to make everything turn to ink, like a cartoon on paper. Now I get that your theory about Bendy being Wally Franks, but I still think Bendy is Joey Drew. Bendy is a literal demon, in which Joey tried to become. He desperately tried to make himself Bendy, to the point where he turned into this. Think about it, when TheMeatly remodeled Bendy, there was several changes. In the earliest version of Bendy, he was huge, not messed up, just a big blob of ink, but as soon as chapter 2 came out, he became more human-like, and with the 4th remodel of Bendy, he grew bones. Joey put himself in the Ink Machine while Henry was running off through the entirety of the studio. Afterwards, he gave up on his desperate attempts, then started going after others, such as the butcher gang, Norman/The Projectionist, Alice Angel (Susie Cambell), the searchers, and you. Only to recycle and hope for the perfect Bendy to appear, though there has never been a successful recreation. And no, there is no "good" side for every character, because if so, then there would be a hell lot of good versions of the butcher gang, a evil boris, a good bendy, and a different version of Samual Lawrence. Though a few things that still question me is, who blocked off the path from Bendy being able to reach you? Why does Henry get flashbacks/hallucinations of the past and monstrous images? How was it possible to have a close up image of Bendy in chapter 1 from a flashback if he was only able to view him from the ink machine being boarded up? *Why was there a trap set up for Joey from Bertrum Piedmont when Bertrum was already gone?*
Okay you made an assumption through a leap of logic that doesn't stand on it's own feet where the story isn't finished yet. You claimed there is not good/bad or good/evil side of the characters by the use of boris, and the butcher gang. First yes we do see a bad version of boris in terms of quality they have just been butchered, and we see an evil version of him as well with the boss fight, so first example is pointless claims. Now you claim there would be a lot of "good" butcher gang members running around if there was the possible balance but here is the thing, most of the butcher gang we see would be classified as bad quality more then evil versions, and there could be good quality or good natured versions hiding out where the good Alice Angel has been before the end of chapter 4, or very simply to good copies just hadn't been produced by the Ink Machine yet. And as one final side note, just because Bendy is supposed to be a demon doesn't mean bad by default as the origin of the word would technically include GOD and his angels as a demons.
Ack, sorry for that assumption, forgot to say "my opinion" and word it out differently, haven't had a good morning for myself. Anyways, you are correct for the most part, but Boris really isn't evil as for Alice Angel (Susie Cambell) turned him into a heap of ink with metal tubes and rewired his brain into something that he is not. Also, throughout the chapters, we see mostly clones of whatever the heck they have for personality of multiple Boris's and the butcher gang. We've only met one Boris of the millions of clones, and met multiple brain dead ink creatures. We wouldn't know if which is siding with which, therefore there really isn't a "good" or "evil" side. Everything down the ink hell is fighting for survival or fleeing from danger. Bendy only exists to try and make everything go in the ink machine to rebirth into something new, if not failed. Demon or not, he kills if he sees something move or breathe. Plus, I never said Bendy is evil, I just said he is a "literal" demon. We don't know anything clearly, we can only assume and progress.
I understand was just pointing out a few things that could be addressed before some real Jackass decided to rip it apart in the most extreme way possible. And ya I'll be honest so far the only example with have of a good/evil balance instead good/bad quality is with Alice as Sussie has clearly gone off the deep end and can fall into the evil category while boss fight boris seems more like a berserk beast then actually evil. Also the point I made about the word demon is because you seemed to imply demon=evil kind of argument most jump to in fiction especially tied in with the greedy theme Joey has been painted with
Bendy and the ink machine has 5 words in it. There are 4 chapters. 5-4=1. There is 1 ink machine. 1+1=2. 5-2=3. The illuminati has 3 sides. Confirmed? You decide. Edit: thank u for the likes. Wow. I never had his much attention. Thank u MATPAT AND THX TO U GUYS!!! Guys. I am just a kid. Plz chill.
I think its more plausible that Boris in Chapter 3 is still Wally. If you manage to give the bone to Boris in Chapter 3 it will reappear in the mouth of the Boris you fight in Chapter 4. The Meatly made mention that Wally never made it out of the studio but judging by Wally's laid-back and lazy personal he'd embody more of the Boris we see in Chapter 3 hiding out in the safe house trying to avoid the craziness in the studio at large ("Getting outta there") as opposed to being the Demon Bendy we see running amok. It would be more poetic for Joey to be Demon Bendy and Henry to be Pure Bendy as opposed to Wally and Henry as the latter pair share no conceivable animosity in the past that would feed into a good ending battle in Chapter 5 and the narrative has been heavily foreshadowed Joey as the main antagonist and cause for the chaos happening at the studio. Another thing that disproves the Wally is Bendy theory is the nature of the ink machine reincarnation. Both Allison and Susie shared similar roles and thus they were turned into the same character that being, Alice Angel. So why would Wally be reborn as Bendy when his tasks at the studio were more akin to Tom, a maintenance worker as opposed to Henry, who this theory believes to be the pure form of Bendy and who was co-owner and possibly lead animator at the studio? Signs point to Wally becoming a Boris more so that a Beny.
When Matpat mentioned that the ink machine could make copies, could it be possible that Wally and Thomas were both boris? Boris-Wally could have been the one taken by Alice and tossed back in the ink machine along with Alice's "help" to create that monsterous boris. Boris-tom could have been hiding with Allison Angel, waiting for a time to strike Susie. That boris appears more confident with his wrench and armored arm than the previous boris, who would cower at the sight of an enemy. Susie could have been aware of Boris-Wally but not Boris-Tom since he was Allison Angel.
Hear me out... So since Boris is Thomas Connor maybe, Wally could have been the other Boris, the one that died as the bossfight. Because Boris isn't missing an arm and it seems as if Alice confirms that the last bossfight was your Boris or the first one we met. Those are my thoughts on who Wally is.
I agree 100% if you notice the Boris we meet at the start is very cowardly, like Wally wanting out and almost being afraid of the place, and he knows a lot about air ducks, and the whole place like a mechanic would so they could make repairs anywhere. I think this made sense. Idk.
Christopher Montoya yeah, my thoughts exactly. I was just thinking that this whole thing was obserd and that clearly the boris showed at the end is a new boris, because how in the world would boris have been able to escape, meet up with the new alice, and make a sweet costume change in the process. hate to say it it but mat patt is pretty obviously wrong. the moment I saw the new alice I was already able to make the conclusion that the new alice was the other voice actor, and the boris was another charecter, doesn't take much brain power to figure out.
When he said endless cycle of death I automatically thought of that line in my shot from Hamilton where he says or will the blood be shed begin an endless cycle of vengeance and death with no defendants
I just thought of an ending scenario where all the ink monsters have just turned back into people and Wally is there but all old and stuff and he just says "I'm outta here" and hobbles out the door.
That would be the best ending if Wally is Bendy. Like, when the good Bendy turns everyone back into people while in a final battle against bad Bendy, Bendy just turns into Wally and leaves without saying anything else than "I'm outta here". Perfection at its best.
While I do agree with most of this, I have to say that I dont think it Henry came back because of Joey's theft. I actually think that Jpey already had the company going for a bit before Henry left. On tumblr ask blogs you often see the idea that Henry had to go to the war and left because of that. I personally think that it was something like that and the reason that Joey Drew Studios lost so much money was simply because Henry wasnt there anymore to give the characters life. Whilst, of course, it wont be like that, I like to think that Henry is just a completely good person, a pure soul. He went back because he missed working as an animator and bringing life to these Characters. He kinda reminds me like an embodiment of the cartoon Bendy. In all Cartoons of bendy puplished by the meatly, Bendy is mischievous but not evil. All in all he feels more like that "little brother" stereotype who wants to get attention by pulling pranks on others but is actually a really nice person and does get upset when something bad happens to others ( there was for example a short where he build a snowman who came to life and when the snowman melted he looked really sad, as if he was about to cry ) and I feel like Henry used to be the same when he worked there and still is. I just want to think that at the end he will sacrifice himself and become a perfect Bendy, a Bendy who is empathetic like he was supposed to be, and he will set everyone free. I know its a horror game but I just really want it to have a happy ending.
No, the wheelchair is still there, and the Ink Demon still has that limp. In fact, if you pay any amount of attention to that animation or even just look at his updated model you can see his left foot is even _more_ deformed than it was previously. (It’s like. Just a glob now.) Personally, I’m honestly still convinced Wally actually did manage to get outta there before everything went to hell in a handbasket because that is exactly the sort of thing theMeatly would do. I also would sorta refrain from making too many assumptions about how the Ink Machine works since, let’s face it, we still don’t really know for certain what it is this thing does. But hey, *_THAT’S JUST ME!_*
I agree that if anything I think the connection to the wheelchair only became stronger with the Bendy redesign. Bendy now seems like he is deteriorating, epecially at the legs which seem to be supported mostly with bone rather than muscle at this point. In contrast to before, the legs seemed fine aside from the twisted foot. And as you mentioned, now the foot is mostly an ink blob rather than the recognizable foot from the previous design. It makes sense that with the frail legs, Bendy now walks with a slow shamble, and the person behind Bendy would have required a wheelchair if that was the state of his disease at that point in time.
I like Jacksepiceye's theory that the whole place is made of ink, if not most. It would explain the crazy layout of the place. The ink machine is a device AND a place... and we're in it.
I’m confused, Im pretty sure Alice has been the one making all these clones of Boris, and of course taking their parts to make her “beautiful again”. But Matt you say the Ink Machine made the many clones of Boris. So did Alice use the machine to make the clones? Maybe or she used something that we don’t know about. Makes me wonder. Its sad that Wally keeps saying he’s “outta here” but maybe he never was able to leave. I mean that may be true if you really think hard enough. I think Matt is going somewhere with this theory.
Bellacheer 247 I think he ment the ink machine can make different clones and just like Alice was a searcher and threw her self back into the ink machine inter searchers did the same creating perfect alice
I don't. The Ink Machine probably picks characters based on traits. Susie ended being a mad angry Alice, which is what she was when Joey replaced her with Allison. So I think Wally is Boris, because he was really happy go lucky and cheerful, and that suits Boris
Bellacheer 247 I don't think she is making them the way you think, i think she is killing all those searchers and ink demons so they might respawn in the machine as a perfect character, which she can murder for parts.
Sorry MatPat... I don’t believe Ink Demon Bendy is Wally Franks... and here’s why: If we go by your theory on The Ink Machine is a judging device who looks for purity when going through the workers, Susie Campbell was the voice actress who was replaced by Allison Pendle, right? So she became jealous and tried to get Joey to take her back, she became very negative to Joey and the company, that’s why she was corrupted. Allison we suppose was the good, pure voice actress in the studio, that’s why she’s the good Alice. Now if we go back to Henry and Joey, who were both animators at Joey Drew Studios. They fought a lot over Bendy’s design, which led to Henry being fired. As we see no one likes Joey because he cheats, lies, etc... That’s why he’s The Ink Demon. Henry was the pure animator... that’s why he’s good Bendy. (Also as a side note Wally and Thomas were both mechanics at Joey Drew Studios, they fought a lot as seen in their Chapter 3 voice recording where Wally was doing everything wrong and Thomas had to correct him. Wally is Boris because he ends up being corrupted at the end of Chapter 4 as Brute Boris and Thomas seems to be the perfect Boris (Tom). That’s just my theory :P)
I still don't think Ink Bendy is 100% evil still. If you look back at the new chapters, and the remastered chapters, he seems to save you multiple times. There's no way that he didn't know you were in the box when you were getting chased, there's no way he didn't know you were strapped to a.. whatever you're strapped to when Sammy tries to sacrifice you, but what does he go for? The ones that are trying to kill you, or have the intention of seeing you dead, leaving you able to escape ( Sure he chases you, and will ultimately "kill" the player if caught, but that could just be the ink messing with his mind or something, or perhaps he has plans and that can actually go along with this theory now that I think about it. Wanting you for himself, not wanting anyone else to kill you, or attempt to kill you, and so he kills the ones that try to. )
It's a theory, calm your tits. And I'm not saying he's good, I'm just saying that there's something going on with him. Whether that be trying to claim you for himself ( Why he chases you, but kills anything else that tries to kill you ) , wanting you captured to use you ( Would explain both the chasing, the killing of things trying to kill you, and goes along with Mat's theory ) , or he's somewhat good, we aren't going to know until the 5th chapter, but people can think and make theories depending on what they see. So maybe he isn't 100% evil, maybe he's tricking you, point is, he's not killing you /yet/. If he actually wanted you dead, he would've done so pretty soon after you first arrive there. Not having eyes doesn't excuse anything either, because he.. he knows you're there, and he can easily capture and find things when he's wanting to. Slamming a door in his face isn't going to do a thing other than make you believe that you're safe.
Now that I rewatch this video with BATDR on the horizon, a lot of theories are going around that I personally think make sense, say that Wally Franks will be the new “(almost) perfect Bendy” we see in the plushies that have come out as merch. This makes sense as yes Wally was a prominent character in the first game, yet was never revealed as a monster. He can’t be the Ink Demon because the audio log of (I think) Thomas Connor that you find in chapter 5 states that Bendy was made without a soul (or former employee). This rules out Wally Franks as being the Ink Demon. While yes it is highly possible that Wally Franks could have been Boris, the book Dreams Come to Life puts a spin on that and suggests (along with Audrey’s glowing writing) that the Boris we come to know and love is actually Buddy. And when you think about it, the gear could still represent Wally as the new Bendy character is seen holding a pipe so maybe he does contain some knowledge about machinery. I personally theorise that the Gent employees where turned into Boris clones as there were so many, and that Tom was turned into one. However I wasn’t sure whether Wally worked with Gent (I’m pretty sure he did) so that puts a spinner in that theory. Wow thanks for reading I guess hope you enjoyed? :/ Edit: it was also theorised that Bendy was trying to protect Henry as perhaps he recognised him. Think about it. He chased Henry, but he stops chasing Henry whenever he enters a Miracle Station. But we know based on our encounter with Norman Polk (the projectionist) in chapter 4, that the monsters can still see you when you are in the stations. Perhaps Bendy knew Henry would be (mostly) safe in the stations and therefore left him alone? And when the projectionist saw him, Bendy came to the rescue. Perhaps in chapter 5, he knew what Henry was going to do, and to stop him from doing that he transformed into Beast Bendy. Maybe he was just angry that he had protected Henry all this time and Henry was just gonna up and destroy him so :p Idk. It’s just one of my weird theories I come up with in the middle of the night
GotMonstaBangtan It's possible the second time Susie Angel was put into the machine she actually was beautiful and was closer to a perfect Alice Angel. Bendy, for one reason or another, touched her and deformed her. This led to her current appearance.
I find it interesting that Evil Alice says that living in the dark puddles is a 'buzzing screaming well of voices' because when you die, you are crawling through a weird inky tunnel full of voices. Maybe you yourself are being reborn through the puddles?
knew it, i knew matpat would call the main character (henry) as bendy, but wouldn't that mean joey drew is a villain from the bendy (cartoon) series we have yet to see? perhaps he's still human & maybe wally franks is doing his bidding to find this perfect bendy. either way, I hope chapter 5 comes out soon
wasn't he dying? its been 30 years if the disease that was killing him (probably cancer) has taken 30 year off then its not as much of a problem then he thinks
Oohh, where bendy?! Well that explains the Death scene every time we die. It's the ink machine recreating us and making us more perfect until we can get the job done!!!!!!! 😮😨
... maybe? Well, it is possible, since the player (Henry the Protagonist) is brought back from the dead each time, giving the player more chances to get the job done, but it's probably a design choice so the player knows they are respawning. That is a good point, though.
*No one may read this comment but I'm going to make a Game Theory of Baldi's basics so Matt doesn't need to make a video on it* Baldi's Basic is a metaphor on the current school system. Baldi gets angrier at you for problems you don't understand and instead of teaching you, he punishes you. He also awards you when you get everything right, which is something schools do. Awarding the smart and punishing the "dumb". I also think when he catches you, he is holding you back. In school terms you're "Repeating the grade" or in the game sense you're "Repeating the game". The principal of things represents how strict rules are in school , that's why you get put in detention for almost everything. The sock represents social anxiety some kids experience during school. The jump kid represents peer pressure and how you get pushed to do things you don't want to do. The bully represents well bullying. The Janitor I don't really know, maybe he is just a janitor. But that's it, I think this is what the creator might have in mind considering the bullies sign said "All schools needs a bully" or something a long those lines. Which tells me that he is building the characters off traits of a average school. But hey, that's just a theory, A GAME THEORY, THANKS FOR READING You know I had a weird pedostache but I shave it off with blue apron which allows you to get posters from loot crate.
Mat, did you forget that at the beginning of Chapter 1 Henry stated that he has never seen the Ink Machine before that moment. Also Henry is never stated as begin a mechanic, if what you purpose is correct then several questions are here. 1. How did Henry acquire the abilities to create the Ink Machine? 2. Why would Joey even want to use the machine in the first place? 3. If Henry was the one who created the Ink Machine then Henry's heart wouldn't be pure if he wanted to ruin Joey, even if he did steal his OC. Besides that, everything else looks great! I look forwards to seeing what will happen with Bendy Chapter 5!
forgeravin I was thinking the same thing. Also, Wally was probably the dead Boris and Tom the new one. I know that the previous chapters got an update, but Joey would probably still be Evil Bendy.
I still think Joey is evil bendy, plus I was thinking about the pentagram drawings a bit, and read somewhere that Alison has the last name Pendle, and in good old England times there was the Pendleton Witches trial, just seems strange that the evil Alice wants the hearts of ink characters to become beautiful, but I think Alison might not have been all that nice. Just my thoughts, I could be wrong.
Boris from chapter 3 would be Wally franks and perfect Boris from chapter 4 would be Tomas Conner so Joey drew is ink bendy! I do theory’s myself at my house 🏡!

...hmmm, cartoonish metaphor / portrayal of the Karmic Cycle / Wheel of Reincarnation from Buddhism?
Or maybe bendy is sans because of the smile(this is a joke)

Bendy and the molesting machine
Woah.

ah yes we love "BENDY"
Actually MatPat, Pentagrams being evil is actually a misconception.
They actually when your stood in one, drive away spirits.
Another misconception is that a pentagram is the star with a circle around it! It's actually is pentacle!
Pokemon?
They also attract good energy and prosperity
i love watching crazy people talk
a petagram that has the tip of the star obviously pointing down summons demons, as you can fit a goat head in it, but if the star is pointing up, it repells them, as you can fit an angel in it.
The moment you mentioned how there will be a perfect Bendy i was like....

What you theorized was WAY better than what we got.
Yup
Maybe things will get better with the next game?
@@purplehostofrain1901 I'm pretty sure it has come out now
@@crazyconniewinter5879 you mean the dark revival?
Definitely
All of this rebirthing and stuff... where is petscop in all this
Petscop and bendy conspiracy theory
Then why isn’t Boris scared when you guys first meet? Also, why don’t you have a reflection? So many questions left unanswered.
That is true...but then again, you don't see Bendy drag you. And would evil Alice be alive then?
Good point....
But wouldnt that mean that the game has not ended? Surely there is something the player eventually becomes. If you are in fact the True Bendy, you would be able to beat Evil Bendy (according to MatPat's theory), so how is the game over? There can only be one solution, your not. Evil Bendy has finally won.
At least you can respawn right? 😉👍
After seeing the new Bendy and the dark revival merch I now believe that Henry might actually be a perfect Bendy.
So I think she will appear in chapter 5 :)
Edit: Yeah you guys are probably right XD. There wasn’t that much evidence for that little theory :v
Smart
But it could've be an error the meatly made :/
Hey, dumbass, she was stabbed through the heart. She didn't dissolve because she was still alive.
Cartoon Turtle Gamer Well, why would there be a ending screen of it? It just doesn't add up.
That makes sense!
Further poof, it was said that being reborn was a streaming well of voices. That's what happens when you die, and you are reborn. Maybe, you become bendy when you die the first time, but there could be different endings if you die at all in the game, or run through perfectly.
Tawnie Nguyen you become Henry's design of bendy the cute one
Tawnie Nguyen your right
Tawnie Nguyen That actually could be possible
The flaws here are obvious;
for the one thing, the Boris that we hang-out with in Chapter 3, isn't the Tom-Boris that we meet at the end of Chapter 4; it's the Disfigured Boris that Alice makes us fight at the end of the Haunted House ride. (which is kind of disappointing, considering this chapter was built-up around SAVING him.)
So regardless, what we knew about the original Boris makes sense for him to be Wally; he still knows enough to dismantle certain mechanics - like the lever for the door - and knows his way while crawling around through the vents; so it makes sense that he's a maintenance man like Wally.
Adding some chocolate chips to the ice cream:
1. Joey Drew = imperfect bendy
Henry = perfect
I can understand why this is true.
2. Searcher boss
Something i dont think you brung up was the thoughttobe uncanon searcher boss in ch3. He is probably shawn flynn, who is voiced by ya boi (jacksepticeye). You battle the boss in heavenly toys, where he works. He also has the accent, wich kinda makes me think about the tophat. About the miner searcher in ch2, idk.
3. Sammy lawrence
Sammy is definetly not the most respected worker. The ink pump was installed into HIS office, so he clearly isnt on joey's good side (not that he has one). He was also faceless, so thats probably why he put the mask of bendy (the ink demon he worships) to honor his "savior" who he didnt know was joey drew.
4. The Projectionist
WIP
Ill probably add more when i gather more info, definetly when ch5 comes out. As for now, ill go back to trying to get the tommy gun 😡😡😡😡😡😡
Damn, thats a solid theory. MatPat must see this. And as far as i can see, your theory and MatPat's theory can both be true at the same time.

Nice diet game theory XD

Step bros. Gaming I was wondering about that too why matpad said that Wally was left out at least someone was wondering about it😂
Also, wally can't go get his keys because sammy occupies that zone, if he were bendy, he would of had no problem

Step bros. Gaming yes agreed
There is an easter egg that you can discover by re-playing chapter 3
If you give a bone, that you find in the chapter, to Boris ,he keeps the bone through the rest of the game
So in chapter 4 he should also keep the bone, which happens
If you give him the bone , it appears at the mouth of the monster Boris ,which confirms they are the same Boris
Bendy: I fear no man...but that thing...*looks at matpat*

Mat and The Theory Machine
Haha.
Waiting for them to do a theory on chapter 5

Me too OceanOtter
That is so far the most logical, as there is clear proof that the Boris from chapter 3 is the same Boris that we fight in chapter 4
If you give Boris a bone in chapter 3, he will still have that same bone in his mouth in the final battle, indicating that the Boris we knew is dead.

Red Red That's a fair point, most times they are meant to summon but also trap it inside the symbol. So its evil yet good at the same time
Red Red The pentagram represents the 4 elements: Fire,Water,Earth, and Wind.

His micky mouse OC was too important to him
I think its more plausible that Boris in Chapter 3 is still Wally. It would be more poetic for Joey to be Demon Bendy
and Henry to be Pure Bendy as opposed to Wally and Henry as the latter pair share no conceivable animosity in the past that would feed into a good ending battle in Chapter 5 and the narrative has been heavily foreshadowed Joey as the main antagonist and cause for the chaos happening at the studio.
REDBLOX COMEDY
U bring up a good point there.
REDBLOX COMEDY hmm i guess but all we can do is just wait and see
When Matpat mentioned that the ink machine could make copies, could it be possible that Wally and Thomas were both boris? Boris-Wally could have been the one taken by Alice and tossed back in the ink machine along with Alice's "help" to create that monsterous boris. Boris-tom could have been hiding with Allison Angel, waiting for a time to strike Susie. That boris appears more confident with his wrench and armored arm than the previous boris, who would cower at the sight of an enemy. Susie could have been aware of Boris-Wally but not Boris-Tom since he was Allison Angel.
Frebreze Sunkist27 jay
+
Hear me out... So since Boris is Thomas Connor maybe, Wally could have been the other Boris, the one that died as the bossfight. Because Boris isn't missing an arm and it seems as if Alice confirms that the last bossfight was your Boris or the first one we met. Those are my thoughts on who Wally is.
Christopher Montoya Boris not Borris
Christopher Montoya it is wally the boris we kill because he does the things thats wally and he has a bone in his mouth if you give him that
So that means
*W E K I L L E D W A L L Y*
NOOOOOOO

I just thought of an ending scenario where all the ink monsters have just turned back into people and Wally is there but all old and stuff and he just says "I'm outta here" and hobbles out the door.
That would be both kinda epic in some way, and the funniest ending ever.
Yes this needs to be cannnon
Sam Mazza omfg yes

(It’s like. Just a glob now.)
Personally, I’m honestly still convinced Wally actually did manage to get outta there before everything went to hell in a handbasket because that is exactly the sort of thing theMeatly would do. I also would sorta refrain from making too many assumptions about how the Ink Machine works since, let’s face it, we still don’t really know for certain what it is this thing does. But hey, *_THAT’S JUST ME!_*
Yes we do, it makes ink, thats why it is the INK machine
Hannah Banina I feel like Wally was actually fired because he kept the Ink Machine in check, so Joey fired him so all hell could break loose.
Hannah Banina I
I’m confused, Im pretty sure Alice has been the one making all these clones of Boris, and of course taking their parts to make her “beautiful again”.
Bellacheer 247

Wanting you for himself, not wanting anyone else to kill you, or attempt to kill you, and so he kills the ones that try to. )
Or, it’s an ACTUAL demon trying to kill you.
Also ‘bendy’ doesn’t have eyes
The conclusion of your theory seems more like it. He is using, and tricking.
Why people are always trying to find some good in obviously evil characters ?
Marsouin malin exactly
Edit: it was also theorised that Bendy was trying to protect Henry as perhaps he recognised him.
Maybe he was just angry that he had protected Henry all this time and Henry was just gonna up and destroy him so :p
Idk. It’s just one of my weird theories I come up with in the middle of the night

wasn't he dying? its been 30 years if the disease that was killing him (probably cancer) has taken 30 year off then its not as much of a problem then he thinks
Oohh, where bendy?! Well that explains the Death scene every time we die. It's the ink machine recreating us and making us more perfect until we can get the job done!!!!!!! 😮😨
Someone actually predicted this.
And I'm not telling who.
... maybe? Well, it is possible, since the player (Henry the Protagonist) is brought back from the dead each time, giving the player more chances to get the job done, but it's probably a design choice so the player knows they are respawning. That is a good point, though.

Noice.
A new, fast theory.
You're..... You're here too..... what do Game Theory and Meme Channels have in common....

Found you!👀
2:40 all RUclipsrs: WHAT?!
this one RUclipsr: Boris!
*No one may read this comment but I'm going to make a Game Theory of Baldi's basics so Matt doesn't need to make a video on it*
Baldi's Basic is a metaphor on the current school system.
But hey, that's just a theory, A GAME THEORY, THANKS FOR READING
You know I had a weird pedostache but I shave it off with blue apron which allows you to get posters from loot crate.
That ending tho
Cortana chan I think the janitor is supposed to symbolize the "other" people in school. The ones who don't help or hurt your cause intentionally.
I want to make this into a RUclips video it’s so gooooddddd
sorry to correct you but this is my ocd its "Baldi" not "Bandi". It was probably a typing error but i just had to sorry.
Cortana chan I'm too lazy to read it

That's a good point!
I think there is an obviously huge piece of information we still need before the final conclusion is drawn
2018:HENRY IS PERFECT BENDY!!
2024: he old
