PEN: A Uni-ball rollerball deluxe micro pen
PAINT COLORS:
Ultramarine blue
Yellow ochre
Hookers green
Burnt sienna
Davys grey
Quinacridone fuchsia
PAPER: Size- 5"x7"
Arches 140lb Hot Press Paper for this Video.
My papers of choice include Arches and Fabriano 140lb Hot press and Cold press paper and Strathmore 500 series Sketchbooks. All are 100% cotton rag.
For beginners, I recommend starting with a high quality paper and experimenting with different types. As your style develops, you'll get a feel for which type is best. Waiting to switch to a better quality paper later will be much like learning to paint all over again.
BRUSH: A Polar Flo 1/2 inch flat and #6 brush. The bristles were originally white but have become stained.

Love that we can see you mix the colors!
I just love your style of art. Confident, seemingly imprecise strokes of pen and brush that create wonders of such a distinct character.
Every time I watch one of your videos, the desire, the inspiration comes back to me. Thank you.
I can't paint for heck, but watching these makes me want to keep trying. Thank you for sharing your technique and showing how you do it.
Lovely little sketch and watercolour. You make it look so easy as well. I’m going to have a bash at this. 😊
Another delightful little scene - I found it particularly helpful to have the reference photo in the bottom corner!! And although I am not very proficient with mixing my colors, also so great that you show the ones you are using along with their names!!! You have made my day!!!
Yippee!... The sunlit barn sketch in color... awesum painting🙏👌💕
Love how you sketch☕

I noticed that you haven't posted anything in a while. I hope you're doing ok. You're one of my favorite YT watercolor artists and enjoy your tutorials very much. Just wanted to check on you and let you know you are appreciated.
amen to that, we love you peter
very nice
HI Peter, love your work as usual. Can I ask any particular reason why the change of paints in your palette i.e. I was watching older tutorials which included Sap green, sepia etc . Does it just depend on what you are going to paint, and yes I'm beginning water colour :) .
👍
limpo lindo
Me encantan tus videos, muchas gracias. Puedes dibujar personas en tus paisajes de naturaleza o urbanos?has graciashas gracias
Peter, you haven't posted in ages!
question - do you pre stretch paper? hot press? cold press? thanks
Hi. The Hooker Green, Its dark ir light?
why don't you show paintings o a bit larger scale? I don't like to recreate post card sice motives and to translate this to a larger scale is difficult for me. I mean the timing and the strokes are different - I think. at least I have difficulties with it
maybe not particularly this kind of line and wash. I mean the other motives on your channel.
