Thank you. I guess you can very easily explore his writings for any dualistic concepts that he uses. For example, the discussion of the colonizer and the colonized in the beginning ofcThe Wretched of the Earth could be a good point of entry.
@@masoodraja ok thanks, I’m a post colonial soas student, I’ve chosen to write about a rather limited term in Fanons wretched of the earth, I’m not sure if manicheanism is large enough to write an essay about!?
@@maidiaskari You could go into the history of the term and how a Manichean word view can impact us. Also, please check out Abdul JanMohamed’s book Manichean Aesthetics.
Is there any theoretical texts that talks about "Dehumanisation"? I m working on " Dehumanisation and Agencylessness in select Indian prison texts...".
For prisons I would recommend Foucault’s Discipline and Punish. On dehumanization, Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed. I have a whole playlist on the latter.
I appreciate this video. I think you do Franz Fanon great justice in the way you explain his trajectory of thought. Thank you!
Thank you so much.
Thank you from Gambia
@@niansowe3164 You are welcome.

Thank you, Prof
You are welcome.
Could you please suggest any article specially on "Pitfalls of National Consciousness "?
I don’t have a specific article in mind but if you do a search on cosmopolitanism and “critiques on nationalism” a lot of references should come up.
@@masoodraja I am not getting as well. Thank you, sir! 🌿
Okay. There is a book by Bruce Robins and Pheng Chea called Cosmopolitics. You will find quite a lot of critiques of nationalism.
@@masoodraja Thank you,sir!
Hi, can you explore in detail the manichean within Fanons thought, or is that too simple a notion to even consider going in detail over?!

Hello Professor Rajja, I thank your for this video. Can you please give us the name of the book you speak about at 37:47 ? Have a very good day!
It was an article by Hamza Alvi, the brilliant Pakistani Marxist: I will see if I can find a copy of his essay.
Here is a newspaper article about him: www.dawn.com/news/1225669
