@@addangel That is a controversial take babe. It is well known that trans people who were able to transition younger have had much more successful and fulfilled lives than those who started later. For example if you are mtf, transitioning smoothly is much easier if you don’t have to go through male puberty. Reversing the deepening of the voice, thick facial and body hair, as well as developed a more masculine body is significantly harder.
@@marcthagard that is true for those it’s successful for, HOWEVER, what about the tens of thousands of detransitioners and the people who end up accepting their gender identity. You have tomboys who would eventually grow up to be totally femme women who feel more comfortable being girly…trying to, while their brain is not fully developed, make a life-changing medical decision.
@@addangel the only treatments typically available for the majority of trans kids are puberty blockers and hormone replacement therapy, two treatments that are reversible. nobody is cutting into kids before their bodies are fully developed, trans or cis.
