Now I realize that I just play the notes, but this guy makes music. I have played the caprices of Legnani, but now its like I heard them for the first time.
mind blowing...just discovered this brilliant guitarist...no words for this, oh yes: Bravo Pavel Steidl....and thank you for posting, you are inspiring...now I am going to practice, yep!
He is humming along. I also like to hum melody when I play. It helps my memory which is bad. I mostly sight read the pieces. How to remember such long pieces ? Practice four bars at the time ? Many times and then move on...
He's wonderful, he's making faces like he's playing heavy metal. In a sense I guess Paganini and Legnani were like heavy metal composers in their time.
That's so weird. I only sight read legnani's Op. 20 like to or three times a yr. and I've never heard them performed by a pro so I'm far off from correctness. but, for the first time in my life I had a dream about performing this first one perfectly for the first time ever, AND IT SOUNDED ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE THIS PERFORMANCE OF IT!!
He says that he plays, Legnani then Paganini, then Legnani followed by Paganini. Does anyone know which caprice/ which sonata it is that he plays? I suppose I have imslp open
First one was Andante by Legnani, then Paganini - No. 12, Minuetto e Allegretto, then Legnani, again, - Andante sostenuto, and then Paganini - Minuet & Perigordino in A major, MS 104.
dursun öner Syn.Hocam,peşinizdeyim ama sizden çoook uzakta.Siz iki yıl önce izlemişsiniz.İnsan nasıl bu kadar iyi olabiliyor duyuyorum,içim gidiyor,ümitsizlik, adamın mükemmelliği ve çaresizliğim boyun eğdiriyor gerçek karşısında.Hem emek, hem yetenek hemde doğuştan özel insanlar.
the classical guitar music will stick in its bubble if this emphasis keeps lying on this mediocre virtuosic music composed by guitarists. it all reminds me of the allegros in the rossini operas , but then a bit less. if the virtuosic guitarplayers would commission good composers then the result will be much more intersting instead of performing this clowneske music with all the comon guitartricks like fast arpeggios , harmonisc , scales and so on.
Now I realize that I just play the notes, but this guy makes music. I have played the caprices of Legnani, but now its like I heard them for the first time.
Definitely one of the best guitar performances you will ever see this man has just played perfection

BRAVO!!!!!! Díky!
Bravissimo!
I like this very much! Extraordinary sound-forming!
simplemente maravilloso !!! 👌👍👏
GENIO!!!!

My God!!!
That's so weird. You can hear him quietly humming as guide to the guitar, haha
Sui Generis.
Interpret i shkelqyer!
Um gênio da guitarra !!
Pavel Steidl looks like Mickey Rooney
i was going to say fred mertz....
Even better!
It could seem that it is the guitarist with the sense of humour.
the classical guitar music will stick in its bubble if this emphasis keeps lying on this mediocre virtuosic music composed by guitarists.
it all reminds me of the allegros in the rossini operas , but then a bit less.

Classical guitar is so painfully boring.
can someone tell me which caprices he is playing and which sonatas?
Caprices 1 and 15 from op.20 - Legnani
Sonata n. 12 MS 84 (34 sonatas) from Pagani. Don't know the name of the other one.
Bravo!
