- What is the make-up of man? What is the difference between the soul and the spirit of man? Why is understanding the make-up of man important regarding our faith and walking out our lives while still in the fallen state? How does this subject relate to our sanctification? Where does the war between flesh and spirit occur? What does it mean to walk in the spirit? What does it mean to pray in the spirit? Has our lack of understanding this topic been detrimental to our walk and prayers, and has it even robbed us of intimacy with our King?

I’m so glad I found your teachings Michael, what a blessing and education they’ve been to me. I’m 65 years old and have been learning from Father for over 50 years, I believe that it all started at a very young age, but it has been only a few years since I’ve truly have begun a walk like no other. Wow! That’ll cut you down to the quick. The battleground of our minds. His Word is sharper than any double-edged sword. Makes you want to step back and…well, no words can be said. Our words/actions/deeds can’t even express the greatness of our Maker. He is spirit. We must walk in the spirit. Now on to stop walking in the flesh. Thank you for sharing this Michael. It really made me take a step back.

I understand what you are taking about. I had an experience after a car accident. I was at home in bed, sleeping on strong pain medication. I was thrown out of my body on the upper floor bedroom, travelled down the stairs to the front door. I stood there looking at my spirit body and noticing that the hallway was lit up very brightly, even though every light was off in the house. I tried to go through the door, then I was back into my body in the blink of an eye. That was my second such experience. I'm in one off the Stables in Canada.
This teaching was OUTSTANDING and INSIGHTFUL for ALL of YAH's people! Thank you, thank you for your honesty and vulnerability! I am experiencing some of the same. So good to know that we are not in this battle alone - HE is ALWAYS with us. It is a matter of us CHOSING HIM! Amen. ❣❤🙏🙏

And as you were speaking, I had a thought that went through my mind several times as well...''Take our thoughts Captive', That is something I still struggle with daily, so I know I needed to hear this teaching!!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful message As I was listening to your message, I wondered/mused with the Savior; "then, when when You often answer our prayers does that mean we are praying in the spirit?" I have experienced answered prayers personally and often wondered why so many of my prayers were answered. I've praised our Savior by His tender mercies for these answered prayers!
Michael, this was for me. This topic, from beginning to end, Yah has been leaning me toward. A little here, little there. But I wasn’t confident in my hearing. Thank you for making this teaching, in spite of every desire not to. Because of it, and through your testimony, Yah made clear to me what I had only yet seen through a glass dimly.
Obviously, I don’t have it all figured out yet, even still. But as I repent of my carnality masquerading as spirit, my focus can turn to what is good, and set apart, and the perfect will of Elohim.

So many people still don't quite get it and this whole concept is something that most people never get to the level to be able to hear or understand what your saying. they're still blinded from so much and they think they've got it figured out but they don't and it grieves me. Let me say, I identify as a Christian (Christ believer/follower) yet I understand this so clearly!! Listening to you, echos what I learned through the Word as well as my husband and the pastor of our church. We use the Holy Bible yet say much of the same things you say. So not all Christians practice “religion”

I have been trying to figure out this very Matter for Months and I`m so glad I listened to this teaching. It really opened up my eyes, I started out trying to be Perfect once I found Torah and Struggled with the Body and Sprit And you really opened my eyes. I feel like you helped me get over this Obstacle that I Just could not figure out. Praise Yah. Thank you..

We enjoyed the teaching. Thank you for sharing. We've stepped away from a lot of studies because we felt like we were getting a lot of knowledge, but the application wasn't there. We feel also that times are getting closer. Things are amping up. We want to be walking in a close relationship with YAH and walking out our belief. The weightier matters are really on our heart especially as parents training up our children. I imagine an experience like that really puts off the fleshly desires. Can you clarify for us what praying in the spirit means and looks like? I've heard some things that lend New Age/Charismania/Messicostal and that does tend to make me lean more cautious and reserved in this area.

This agrees with the Messiah's teaching; not making excuses for the flesh; while at the same time teaching that transformation happens from the inside out in the heart/soul/kidneys (Matt. 5:28; 23:26; Luke 10:29-37; etc.) ; great teaching
How unworthy I am, but as we come to Him He makes us worthy! Thank You, YAHshua, for taking care of our needs. Thank you, Michael, for letting the Savior explain this message through His Word and the experience He gave you. This principle is in the Word and has given me a similar study in my experience. Praise our Savior!
What a blessing and a humbling experience that must have been, getting a view into the unseen realm. I think the English language doesn't have the words to explain some things that happen in our walk. I will continue to fight the flesh, and grow in my understanding, thanks for another great teaching and for your guidance.

Thank you beloved brother in Messiah Jesus.... it is written that our God desires honesty on the inward parts, which is the submitance to Abba's fathership over and concerning us. Most of us i believe have yet to even begin really walking in and better still WITH The Holy Spirit... is it not important to KNOW who our creator God, faithful father and savior is?

Yes. And I'd add for myself: By the next feast of Matzah I hope to have less spiritual leaven in my house! I'm no longer shocked by how much cultural baggage I have from my educational background which included study of the fallen, corrupt flesh looking for truth. Genetics and epigenetics trying to explain why people do evil or foolish things and make excuses for it hasn't helped my walk! But reckognizing that their is still some virtue and beauty in this twice-fallen world is testimony to the goodness of the original and the Creator who made it!

thank you for this Michael :) i am a 68 yr old woman & live in a small town where i havent met anyone yet who is on this journey that i can trust & share with. I have joined the zoom meeting with Curtis these last two weeks. I was going to join you all last night but where I am--wisconsin usa--it was at 9pm--i was so tired at --7:30-- that i went to bed and just now watched your teaching from last night. lol one of these Shabbats i will make it join you guys tho. I have a question, the only one who has been discipling me is Yeshua & since Yom Terruah this year He has been showing me whats really been going on in my heart-my true motivations & such & I have been walking in a different way than I ever have--He has been showing me leaven in my heart and cleaning it out & i am beyond grateful. Im just wondering how I in practical ways can stay in line with the authority of the King- I may not be describing this well. but thank you for your labor for The Kingdom, Yeshua has helped me greatly with your teachings. :)

If death is an unconscious state then why would the New Testament contain so many teachings about a place people go after they die. For instance, Lazarus vs the rich man, Jesus goes to spirit prison, Jesus tells the thief that he will be with him in paradise, Paul says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Also, God knows the end from the beginning and has intimate knowledge of every living soul. So the Jeremiah verse you used doesn't exactly dispute the idea that God is talking about His foreknowledge and knowing us, seeing us, living within us as a lamp or light and searching our heart.
I agree on every other teaching here. Great stuff!
My questions also. Further, it appears that Yeshua always used real-life, true examples in His parables. So why on one occasion regarding the story of the rich man and Lazarus, would He choose to use an example that isn't true? Shalom!

Question family im going through a weight loss journey im currently at 122 kgs and very fat. Is it real fleshly to pray for weight loss and strength to stay on track? I mean im obviously praying for my flesh but its not like a sinful pleasure to want to be healthy and its definitely not motivated by the praise of men... thoughts?

Amein brother, good teaching! If i may humbly say so, I believe Paul is referring specifically to the sacrificial Laws and not the Torah as a whole in Hebrews 10:1(the sacrifices being a shadow of Yeshua's sacrifice) and this is why using the word Torah, as some translations do, can be confusing to some people.
He is speaking of the sacrifice of animals. I myself am not a big fan of using the word Torah every time Paul refers to various Laws, but i believe it is better to use the words sacrificial laws, etc.

It makes sense what you're saying about everyone possessing the Spirit, just at different levels. That explains why pagans worship false deities. They have a strong need to worship something or someone. That deep need to connect with your creator comes from Alahym's Spirit in them. The pagans are just fulfilling that need with false mighty ones.
What sin could be fleshly sin? Please advise?
Yes because when there are sins and wrong habits and bad fruit in the flesh it's a direct result or outflow of what is wrong in the heart!
So we should ask :- what is then wrong in my heart which is causing me to sin in the flesh?
Why does Paul say that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and that is better for him than being here? Yeshua told the thief that he would be with Him that day in Paradise? Shalom!
@@revam360 I don't remember who did the teaching on that verse, "I tell you today..." but it would be incorrect grammatically to say, "I tell you today that such and such..." because, of course, you're telling the person right then, i.e, today. The "today" has to be referring to when the event would be taking place, not when the person is being told about the event. Just because people believed something a long time ago doesn't mean that their belief was incorrect. I agree that we all should remain teachable. This is one of those subjects that can be a distraction because the focus should be on honoring and serving God and others. There needs to be more focus on being a disciple, living the right kind of life now. The afterlife will take care of itself. Shalom!
According to 1 Corinthians 12:3 , no one can say that Yahusha is Master except by the Setapart Spirit .

At 1751 this is part of separation of physical state because Jesus was in chilled for 3 days and three nights and he was not unconscious in the grave it says so. So when you are trying to explain which makes sense, that is we die by. We continue without the dust without the spirit which binds us to life. But we are now in shell consciously remember the rich man and Lazarus that way. Consciously in death in their separate futures
