Aisin Gioro Pu Yi (February 7, 1906 - October 17, 1967) was a Chinese character Yaozhi and was known as Hao Ran. He was the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty. He was the great-grandson of Daoguang Emperor Minning, the grandson of Prince Yixuan, the nephew of Guangxu Emperor, and the eldest son of Regent Zai Feng, whose mother was Suwan Guaerjia Youlan. reigned from 1908 to 1912 and twice from July 1, 1917 to July 12, 1917. He became the emperor at the age of three in 1908, with his father as regent. [99] The Xinhai Revolution broke out in the third year of Hsuan-Tung (1911), and the reign of the Qing Dynasty ended when he was forced to abdicate on February 12, 1912, the first year of the Republic. Still residing in the Qing Palace, he enjoyed the preferential conditions for the abdication of the Qing family as agreed by the Provisional Government of the Republic of China. Six years of the Republic of China (1917) Zhang Xun had embraced his restoration, 12 days and lost. In 1924, Feng Yuxiang staged a coup in Beijing, abolishing the title of Qing Emperor and moving out of the palace. He continued his restoration activities in Tianjin the following year. [After the September 18 Incident, he became a puppet emperor of the pseudo-Manchukuo under Japanese control, and was called "Emperor Kang De" (1934-1945). In 1959, he was released by amnesty. On October 17, 1967, Puyi died in Beijing at the age of 61 due to uremia. First buried in Babaoshan Mountain, then moved to the Royal Mausoleum of Huarong near Chongling (Guangxu Mausoleum) in Qingxi Mausoleum. Puyi married four times in his life and married five women, the last marriage was with Li Shuxian in 1962. Puyi authored his autobiography, "The First Half of My Life", published by Mass Publishing House in April 1964. His unique and dramatic experiences have been adapted for film and television several times, including the film The Last Emperor, which won numerous awards including the Academy Award in 1988.
