Ranganathaswamy temple hills is situated in a hill surrounded by Bilikal forest near Kanapura town. This is a perfect offroading destination for bikers and high ground clearance 4 wheelers.
The forest checkpost opens at 9AM and closes at 5PM. It is not advisable to go before or after the mentioned timing as there are many elephants in this hill and could be dangerous for the riders as the road is very narrow and surrounded by forests.
After finishing the first offroad of Ranganathaswamy hill take the road just before the check post to go to Anjaneya swamy hill. This offroad is even narrower and thrilling. Google map does not show any road to Anjaneya swamy hill but there is a offroad which exists.
There are no mobile signal in this area and no shops to buy any snacks or beverages. Please make your own arrangements and kindly make sure to take back all the plastic cover or garbage back. Please do not litter in the forest.
