    Amazing pet dude! I want a wolf fish so bad. He doesn't eat the shrimp?

    • @BryanLa
      @BryanLa  11 месяцев назад +1

      thanks! when it was younger it would chase the shrimp around, but eventually i guess it got used to the company and stopped trying to kill everything. Lives with small fish as well. definitely one of my least aggressive wolves ever kept

    Funny how adorable something can be when all reality it's fierce and savage 💯 %

    Just got a red wolf fish about a week ago, mine is maybe 3.5 inches. Already super confident and comes right up to the surface in the spot I feed it whenever I walk in the room

      Nice! That’s what I love about Ery wolves, they’re like little water puppies

    I love my Wolfie truly even more personable than oscars. And They are tanks of a fish. Zero water changes in 3+years, I just add. But yes they WILL eat anything added to the tank.

    Have you heard of saltwater wolffish?

  • @OceanSwimmer
    @OceanSwimmer Год назад

    It appears the Wolfish is a "waiting" predator - he enjoys the concealment of the plants. Solitary he seems happiest.

      it's quite opposite now. its been a long time since this video but now it is out and about whenever i'm near the aquarium. it rarely ever hides and has small fish as tank mates with no issies.

    What smaller wolfs could you keep in a group? They’ll get along?

    • @BryanLa
      @BryanLa  2 года назад +4

      That I am unsure. I tried mixing erythrinus in the past but they would fight. It would depend on the specimens but your best bet would be gold wolves, they naturally run in a pack

    • @BryanLa
      @BryanLa  2 года назад

      I got mine from a local fish store here in Cali. It depends where you’re from but they’re generally hard to find. Try ordering online! I’ve done that once and had it shipped to my nearest airport for pick up

      @@kxngkaidou4518 yup, whenever I see these erythrinus wolves they get bought super fast cause they’re smaller and more people can house them. Hoplias get super big and need a big tank. I’m actually planning on getting one for a future aquarium build 😅 I’m aiming for a hoplias cupupira
