@@maintainingmomentum It is a big deal! When you spend a lot of money on something you what it worked on by a professional. Each time you buff out a vehicle you are removing a small layer of finish if its not that bad and a lot if it is bad. Years ago we bought a brand new car and it had a great factory paint job, they said we will buff it out for you at no charge and it will pop. Well when we went to pick it up it had really really bad swirl marks all over it so they buffed it again and they made it worse. It was so bad and by doing what they did they buffed off the clear coat. So guess what they ended up having the whole car repainted (the dealer agreed it was messed up) What a nightmare, so when you say its not a big deal it is. I think if this happened to you you would not be saying its not a big deal. Some people just like to complain!!!
Shine Supply is a VERY high quality company. They blow the basic companies out of the water like Adams, Chemical guys, etc. Glad to see they were using this company on the rig.
I have the same full body paint. Have you had any tiny paint blister issues? I have little bumps all over mind and GD said that it would only fall under the one year warranty. Awesome.
I would advise against using pressure washers of any size on RV's. It will force water into places where it otherwise wouldn't go. just use a water hose.
I own a paint shop and we do rvs as well (unforuntaly not these as the units that come out of my shop dont have the swirls). I kno the paint shop that did them and those swirls were done from the paint shop nobdy else buffs them after
Wow, well thanks so much for the input. We didn't specify who did it, but we're assuming the dealership just out of they were maybe trying to get it to shine before we picked it up. So the manufacturer uses a sub to paint these?
Hi I have the same problem just bought 2022 momentum 397 looks like it’s been hit with a buffer from the factory or the dealer. I seen your video I was just wondering how does your rig look today and did it stay looking good? i’m from Canada and having troubles finding a company to repair the paint swirls
If you are referring to the actual correction. The entire deal was about $2200. Paint correction, buff, wax, ceramic coat the front cap. About 16 hours of work.
Tell us about your RV PDI horror stories. Did the dealer take care of it?
Glad to be a part of this project and help restore the paint back to how it should of looked from the factory
Looks great now, you kept calmer than I would have if this happened to me
Yeah, it was definitely a challenge to keep calm about it.
It's NOT that big a DEAL !! They get buffed quickly at the Factory! Some people just like to Complain !!!
@@TheCampoholics Oh please ! You just like to complain ! You didn't buy a LUXE at a 1/4 million !!!
