A great place to raise a family. In my 20 and 30"s I've lived in Philly PA and the burbs. But nothing is quite like home, when you start raising a family you start to miss the little things and you start missing Home. Gloucester will be my forever home. People are friendly, kind and open hearted in Gloucester. Glad it's stayed that way.
Ancestors came to Gloucester around 1700 from England and settled there for 100 years before moving to North Carolina. I am sure they are buried in the local Episcopal Church cemetery . Many of them served with Washington, some were killed by Indians. Intend to visit the place one of these days.
Don't get me wrong I love Gloucester and they have a great police force but the real reason the crime rate is so low is because 90% of them are armed to the teeth and in some cases tooth.

The school system is down the drain and the county is near broke from a former gang of county supervisors that robbed Gloucester blind. There's inbreeding in the marshes and overall the county has one of the highest of illiteracy in Virginia. Its a place of little common sense.

Government schools are all about the Buere (call themselves rothchild) and Openhiemer families indoctrinating children into self emulation. So looking for a good school is like looking for a nice smelling pile of dog feces. All schools even private ones are geared to teach you to except your death and domination.
Love my hometown!! I went to Massachusetts and went to Gloucester mass and the woman there said... you pronounce it wrong.. it's,, glawsta!!! I'm like No!! It's glawster (using the wrong spelling to show how we battled lol.. I'm like.. no no there is no w in Gloucester!! It's not Glawsta it's Gloucester!! She looked at me like I was crazy lol
