      because temp RISE is 4.4 deg celcius, so after converting and all, temp rise = same= 4.4 deg K

      change in temp in celsius and kelvin is same, hope it helps. For example, 100C-0C="100C" similarly 373K-273K="100K"

    Is the eqn valid for lewis acid and base . For eg when NH3 and HcooH react it form hcooNH4. And there is no rexn b/w H+ and OH- to form H2O which is the reason for -13.7. so shouldn't the value differ? 20:23

      use mole concept, the volume and molarity is given so if you find the no. of moles using the formula, it will come out 0.2 mol

      when 1 mol of h3po4 neutralized with naoh delHneut is -150 (and 1 mol means no.of g.eq of h3po4=3) so when S.A and S.B is used energy liberated is -57.3 kcal/g.eq, and here for no.of g.eq=3 Heat liberated=3*57.3=171.9 therefor------> -150=delHion-171.9------> delHion=171.9-150=21.9 KJ/mol.

      @@boncoderz1430 12gm is the water equivalent of bomb calorimeter, whenever the heat is released in a reaction the calorimeter also gets heated up, so in order to calculate the total heat sir added all the masses (200 + 400 + 12) gm. If you have any further confusion then you can refer to lecture 1 of this series or else to the calorimeter part taught in physics under ‘heat transfer’ chapter.
