    Thanks for this! Loving your videos, I've been into trying to make similar genres for a while, so it's nice to get a bit of direction/inspiration. Really like all the percussion/choppy ukg beat on this one

      Nice one! I really liked this beat too, was nice to listen to on its own. The tight snares work well, I think

    Amazing content! Would love to hear your inputs on the different plugins that might be deemed as "essential" vs those ones that can be substituted by logic's native stuff. i.e. Valhalla, LFOtool...

    Good video thanks. I may have missed it but I dont recall you talking about compression and the limiter on the master. Compression is something im struggling with but quite encouraging to see youve not used much. Do you bus out elements together often? Feel free to just point me to your other videos if easier!

    Hey Tom, any reason you use LFOtool for sidechain rather than simply sidechaining with the compressor?

    • @tombenjaminmorris
      @tombenjaminmorris  3 года назад +1

      Hey mate, yeh for me I feel like I can get way more control over the sidechain envelope with the LFO tool that the compressor can't replicate. I like to have a lot of quick/snappy sidechain pumps and I notice a lot of pops and clicks when trying to achieve this with the logic compressors. Also, I like using the filter + lfo capabilities creatively on the LFOTool to give weird sounds
