BORIS KARLOFF IS THE MASTER PEICE OF HORROR
Im so thrilled to have found this series! after binge watching one step beyond, i was starting to have withdrawl symptoms!!
I had just watched this entire series the other night. Still better than anything made today!
I only discovered Veil, and Thriller, a few weeks ago. What a treat!
Never knew Boris Karlof, was SUCH a wonderful, character actor! ❤❤❤❤
I like hearing Boris Karloff talk.He sounds so smooth and creepy and scary.
Love karloff...he was on the cover of a ghost comic I loved in 60s/70s..
Exactly 💯
I cannot understand why this series was never broadcast its great 👍👍👍👍
It is true. This Series really is the best television show that nobody ever saw.
While trash gets 10+ seasons and critical acclaim.☹
@@lowerclassbrats77 Tis the way of the world...
Exactly 😢
Thanks to Wikipedia I now know why I did not see these as a child. Thanks also to our host for sharing them with fine quality so I may enjoy each one in my senior years.👻🎥🤗
The Veil is an American horror/supernatural anthology television series hosted by and starring Boris Karloff and produced in 1958 by Hal Roach Studios, very similar to Alcoa Presents: One Step Beyond. Production was abandoned after ten episodes had been made, which were never broadcast or shown in syndication in their original format. However the episodes were compiled into three feature-length anthologies which were broadcast in the late 1960s. The original episodes have subseqently been released on DVD.
But l count 12 episode's on this site..not 10 were 2 more made so that it would be an even 4 episode's per anthology?
@@robertrachels1870 you're correct. 12 , not 10, episodes were produced
"For many years, it was thought that only those 10 episodes of The Veil had been produced, and that two extra titles that were cited in reference sources ("The Vestris" and "Whatever Happened to Peggy?") were just "alternate titles". "The Vestris" was a backdoor pilot for The Veil which aired separately as a 1958 episode of ABC-TV's anthology series Telephone Time and thus was the only episode ever aired. (Whatever Happened to Peggy? just disappeared from all of the later VHS video compilations for some unknown reason.)" infor source: IMDb
Thank you for the production information.
The ghost of his wife is gonna kill him of starvation, what a great series n a great actor, boris karloff...they just don't hit like this anymore.
Love this series 'Thank-You' Boris Karloff and PizzaFlix
Hi Poppy. Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you. 🍕🍕🍕
@@PizzaFLIX do we have a Thriller playlist?
I am enjoying this series. Thank you for posting.
This was my favorite one!
I was a kid in the 1960's and loved these shows with Boris, he's a great actor. Thank you for the video.
Boris, one of the all time greats. I truly miss this gentleman .❤️
This is the best episode! but if you like Boris Karloff and Thriller you will like the rest of the episodes.
It's ashame this wasn't made into a TV series! Karloff claimed he was never paid for series!
My absolute all time favorite Christmas animated video is How The Grinch stole Christmas, narrated by Boris Karloff
Karloff captured the blackness of the tiny heart of the Grinch, and the pureness of CindyLou's warm heart.
The good storyline and with Boris Karloff at the helm great acting, he was one super actor....
Great underrated series. This is probably my favorite Veil episode, Boris is brilliant here.
when did this jewel of a series come out its wonderful debra jane lerner

excelent, and a great
show case for king Karloff.
Paul Bacchus esq
Love him what a gentle soul he was
Boris use to hand out candy to the children as well 🌷.
Used to follow in the street from the studio. Check out Boris this is your Life.
They did a great job with this old movie. I am actually feeling queasy just watching his wife suffer in the boat.
I realize Im pretty off topic but does anybody know a good place to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Beckham Keagan try flixzone. Just google for it =)
I LOVE THIS SERIES WITH THE UPMOST PASSION!!! I ENJOYED ALL THE EPISODES, BUT THIS ONE KIND OF STICKS TO ME, BARNONE MY FAVORITE EPISODE!
Terrific! I love spooky stories with no answers!
Wonderful thank you so much for sharing! Peace in abundance
dang i thought i knew every b/w movie/show/series ever. wow what a treat! thank you 🎥🥂
I enjoy Thriller but The Veil is better. The 30 minute format is more to the point and absent filler.
This is one of my favorites.
I remember this show when I was a very young girl
Happy to have come across this! Thanks a bunch 💯💖
It never aired on television though if I remember correctly
Thank you!
always remember to clearly label your poison so you don't get it mixed up with your cocaine or that newfangled heroin everyone's raving about.
I just love these episodes
These are great old but great... thanks keep them coming maybe an update
Another great flick many thanks❤
I've never heard of or seen these before, but I like what I see.
Pretty cool how they managed to keep those caterpillars taped to Barney's face.
3:35 - "This place is more like home to me than my own house" --- I think the majority of the male population would say that about their local pubs,
Only if they didn't have a beauty like you to go home to🤗
Great episode!!!!
"Snakes on a Ship." The prequel to "Snakes on a Plane."
Did anyone catch that Cpt Elwood (Karloff) said “Thank you Mr Elwood” to Mr Logan at about 1:40?!
I did ... 😮 ... big time blooper , good one Laura 👌🏻
@@rafaelramirez1507
Good job to you too!!!
I feel so sorry for poor Ruth
Now I see how the Grinch got his charm.
Thank you
Lol, looks like someone threw that snake on the floor oppose to it jumping from the trunk
Poison is weapon of choice of coward and the thief, so the captain was in good company.
Great video
The Veil (TV Mini Series), Food on the Table USA (1958). Boris Karloff as Host / Captain Elwood; Kay Stewart as Ruth Elwood; Tudor Owen as Captain Barney; Russ Bender as Calvin Logan; Eleanor Lucky (as Eleanor Luckey) as Bessie.
Boris Karloff, back as a Heel
Love it, eye 4 an eye,.
Nice job, Mrs Elwood👻👻👻
مسلسل رائع
I only now come across this series may 8 2023
Unseen Force. That went unexplained. But led to a balance well worth the end of the story
Karloff slightly reminds me of Mel Gibson
Thanks
"You take a rest .... rest now" ... you need to RIP ...
Great
Funny how at certain angles, Boris looks like Jay Leno in a few of the scenes! lol
Somehow. the Veil series just didn't seem have best writing or storylines although Boris Karloff starred in almost every episode. And that massive fireplace like portal into Underworld
Lol " snakes on a plane."
...its a re run script idea !
@@sylviasimpson7076, snakes in your unmentionables, don't worry, I'll just have to suck the venom out! LMAO
Mistake took the life of the wife in question. A lost friend a lost dear and a log at Sea in search of his arm mate
That restaurant owner is such as a$$ of a boss.
No he is not my friend, but funny ... funny as can be 😆
Why do you have food on the table and the Gloucester captain , it’s the same episode posted twice.
The hostess was a spitting image of Gale Storm. Boris never resembled the Frankenstein monster more than when he first confronts his wife in the club. His sideburns even resemble the two electrodes on the monster.
The series is excellent but it would have been better served with a memorable theme music.
@ 10:08
You could have let the me die. VIRNA PANDEY 🌷🌷🌷
Boris is a bit of a prat in this one.
Men the world over😢😢😢😢
I'm greatly the above lady who went justly angry at her Capt who went a missing till dinnertime. & Thou ????
Cotton? What century does the story take place; 18th or 19th century?
Cotton, Tobacco, Sugar and Slaves were major cargos in 1800s.
oh this story was pretty bad, and the acting from Boris was fairly lame as well - I would love to have re-written 80% of this - definitely would have gotten rid of the ridiculous snakes - I think I would have had his wife dead from the very beginning - but show her as a ghost appearing every now and then while Boris was out at sea - slowly but surely the visions could have driven Boris to madness and then he would have had the chance to do some real acting - at any rate, I finally would have had Boris so consumed by fear and guilt that he believed he could redeem himself by jumping overboard into the sea to save his wife who appears to be drowning and crying for help - but again since she is a ghost it would be to no avail - and the last thing shown by the camera would be the circling shark fins and Boris' cries of terror - the END
Sounds good
Boris Karloff and lame acting should never be used in the same sentence. Never.
All the evil ones were executed.
eh.
that was lame
These Beyond the Veil episodes would be a lot better if there were no Boris Karloff in them. He was perfect as the Frankenstein monster because portraying the character required no acting ability.
You think?
What !? ... you must be out your last mind
I THINK BECAUSE OF BORIS KARLOFF APPEARING IN ALL THE EPISODES WAS THE REASON NO NETWORK PICKED IT UP AND THE REASON ONLY 12 EPISODES.
