He was the kindest of them all. The regretful poet among the band of warrior brothers in berserk. O! Feanor... Why did you have to be so harsh, so hasty in judgement? Maybe the best and the worst of all the elves. However, it is Finwe's blood tracing down the line, all of his sons, that burns the wisdom. Even Fingolfin's end befell from the same witless anger...

His body was turned to ashes wasn't it? So if Mandos were to kindly kick his soul back to Arda from his halls, Feanor's soul wouldn't be able to enter any physical form, thus making the whole revival process unnecessary. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Gruesome Bear Of The Mountains and The Plains. Ah, ‘I WILL take part in your damned fate’ this describes how Fëanor’s rage and anger drove him into insanity for the revenge of his father and the Jewels of the Noldor. He wanted to take part in the death of Morgoth, but failed and died trying. So he relied on his sons to fulfill there path against Morgoth, but the Silmarils passed down away from Melkor, and the Oath Against Melkor was forgotten
Feanor was still one of the worst elven kings for me, he just messed uo everyone else's life for his pride, killed his brethren, was unfair to Fingolfin, died in the first battle getting no revenge, fucked up everyone else's life with that stupid oath. People *hear a song : Feanor was soooo cooool!

This was the first Blind Guardian song I ever heard, a friend sent it to me over a horrible 56k modem connection in about 2002. It totally changed how I saw music. My "real life" friends were into punk (which is garbage,) so that's what I'd been exposed to, outside of my dad's Dad Rock collection.
Knowing the context of these lyrics turns this from a 10/10 to a 100/10.

Ah, ‘I WILL take part in your damned fate’ this describes how Fëanor’s rage and anger drove him into insanity for the revenge of his father and the Jewels of the Noldor. He wanted to take part in the death of Morgoth, but failed and died trying. So he relied on his sons to fulfill there path against Morgoth, but the Silmarils passed down away from Melkor, and the Oath Against Melkor was forgotten

Feanor was still one of the worst elven kings for me, he just messed uo everyone else's life for his pride, killed his brethren, was unfair to Fingolfin, died in the first battle getting no revenge, fucked up everyone else's life with that stupid oath.
