One option that you could do still because this sounds pretty good as a microphone is to go into Windows settings and change the input volume for the microphone. Did you see if that was a possible solution, at least short term?

Ive bought 2 of them, and i cant get the screw out of the bottom to detach the base. So basically id have to use the base instead of my mic arm. This is ridiculous.
can i ask what is the height of this microphone with the base? like can the height be adjusted because i might not have enough space for such a tall microphone
