All I would really like to say about this mini - is - that ML looks more gorgeous every time I see him in a new drama. Hoping to see him in another one soon...
This drama is amazingly magic! How on earth! She can cook with pots, cutlery, plates, and even she made an oven!! As well as,,, the ingredients for the soup and else….. they all come from her bag?? Like Nanny MacPee with her magical bag! 😅😅😅😅😅
This is a really cute little drama…..😢 right up to the NOT HAPPY, DORKY ending. Ok, for some, it’s “how it’s meant to be”, but it’s not a happy 🥰ending, and for those of us who appreciate a happy romantic ending ~ you won’t like this. 😢 If it has a season 2, however, with the romance and story line tied up better, it would be an AWESOME little drama!
All tough the whole story is quite interesting and fun to watch characters and all the faces but i was quite disappointed by the ending i wish there was a sequel of this awesome drama which really is amazing to watch ❤❤love from India ❤❤❤❤
The ending was exactly how it was supposed to be. The FL said she would have to go back eventually, as the "plot" would have it. After being tied up in the carriage, she was pulled back into the future, got rescued in the woods and finally returned home to show her parents what she learned, and her mother finally recognized her skills which was the purpose of the entire show to begin with. I saw a few comments saying she went on acting like she never met the guy, that couldn't be more wrong... The Female lead was crying at the end not only because of the recognition, but because she would never see the Male lead again, which is why they showed the torn out contract and the knife scabbard at the very end.
Also, the Male lead would do what needs to be done to get back on the throne, as the Female lead was the motivation for him to do so, and eventually become the new emperor... However, he would never get her back.
But the ending is really sad..i just feel like the story could have a happy ending where she gets to be a good cook and they get to be together, its sad to see that they wont meet each other again...
This is a cute little drama series! Fabulous cast...silly humor.....time travel back into history....romance of a young woman who is an independent chef from the future...meets a stately young man who was blind but regained his sight! Enjoyed it! ❤❤❤ thank you Admin for the english translations ❤

That was a really well performed drama with great chemistry and a talented cast😊 the ending may have been a bit sudden but i'm assuming they'll release an even more awesome season 2 as tencent mini dramas often have sequels😇 😎
This is an adaptation of the novel Xue Xiaoran's Journey of Partnering/Companionship in Ancient Times by Qian Mo. I’d be interested to see if this is how the novel ends or if this is just act one. After all, they have an agreement not to part so did he travel to her world at the same time she did? I think we will see a new season in 2024 that will continue the story.

I loved this drama from start to finish, but I only wish that she would have met him in her present after returning. For me, it felt unfinished.
