In fact my bank only approved my mortgage after agreeing to get mortgage insurance. Meaning that if I lose my job or something they'll insure me for a period of time while I look for work. Worst comes to worst, I sell the thing and recover enough to pay several years of rent.

Nagzz knows that hotels are the best. Like, that's the only place I can indulge in air conditioning 24/7, good beds, good bathrooms and then there's the variety, different hotels have different stuff in them. Really, if a hotel feels like just another house then you're missing out. The hotel should be an experience. (If only I had the money and courage to talk to room service.)

Why do you even need a cruise? There’s entire resort islands. Hell just a good beachside resort that owns its fair stretch of land is enough. As long as you’re on hotel property, it’s all fair game and some of them are incredibly decked out. Whole shopping centers and shit in them, as far as I can recall. Fuck it, choose a Disney park location. You got half a city in there and a constant circulation of new people to meet. Even if some of the hotel rooms are uber shit, you get enough.

Then again my confines of my accommodation is a huge fucking resort. The only time I went out of that place was when I got pulled for a road trip by the people I went with. I didn't want to go to with them but I'd look like an asshole if I didn't go with them for that day trip outside of the resort. Frankly it sucked, the locals kept trying scam us. I just wanted to relax but not in my house lmao. I wanted to wake up go to a buffet that's included and stuff my face and go to the bar and get drunk. I could do that at home but I'd have to cook and make my drinks myself. That resort I was treated like a king cause I was a good tipper so after the people at the buffet and bar got to know me, I got amazing service and priority than the ones that didn't tip. The other time, it was a trip during my college years. I was stuck in the hotel room cause I was working on a college assignment on my laptop during the whole trip. I wanted to roam but at that time the programming class was a bitch and it was a big project.
If there was a button that allowed me to take a month long vacation but would force me to stay in the hotel for that month, I would NOT press it. I mean, it sounds tempting, but the option didn't say anything about the stay being covered. Most hotels charge by the month, and after that month you are looking at a bill that can reach over $100,000!

All in all it depends on where you are in life, how close you are to your first million currently, and how you spend your remaining time spending that million.

I'm not much younger than you, but I'd take the 1 mil in a heartbeat. Of course, I'm in very poor health, so I need that money so I can get old enough to die 10 years earlier. But in general, those last 10 years are pretty miserable anyway. I've seen too many grandparents wither away and die with dementia, arthritis, and generally not being able to take care of themselves. I'd rather not make it that far.
People are missing the point with the vacation question. It says you can go anywhere. It doesn't say it has to be a hotel. You can go to your favourite celebrities house. Spend a month stalking your oshi. Or spend a month at the Holo office. Possibilities are far more than a fancy hotel.

These last two vids were a lot quieter than usual. I'd really appreciate it if the editors could look into their audio / equalizer settings so that i dont have to turn my volume up to 130% to hear anything.
I heard RUclips takes the loudest peak in the video and then drops the sound down to a reasonable level and makes the whole video quieter. It's probably the alert sound or something.

@@araamahasla555 Not true, there's a lot of protections in place. It takes much more than a single payment before you default on your mortgage. In fact my bank only approved my mortgage after agreeing to get mortgage insurance. Meaning that if I lose my job or something they'll insure me for a period of time while I look for work. Worst comes to worst, I sell the thing and recover enough to pay several years of rent.

The real scam are property taxes. You don't pay and the government steals your home, mortgage or not. You neer truly own something if you have to pay for it forever

I totally understand what Nagzz is saying, about getting older and valuing your time. The older you get, the more you realize that the most precious thing you have in your life is time, because so much of life demands it and you can never get it back. I can remember when I was 10 and how an hour felt like an eternity, and now I'm 39 and there just aren't nearly enough hours in the day. Don't be like me and waste your life with "could haves" and "should haves", make the time you have count.

Cruises were my first thought, not usually a fan of that kind of all inclusive holiday but a month of unlimited food and alcohol for free would be a no brainer
Why do you even need a cruise? There’s entire resort islands. Hell just a good beachside resort that owns its fair stretch of land is enough. As long as you’re on hotel property, it’s all fair game and some of them are incredibly decked out. Whole shopping centers and shit in them, as far as I can recall. Fuck it, choose a Disney park location. You got half a city in there and a constant circulation of new people to meet. Even if some of the hotel rooms are uber shit, you get enough.

7:25 I've already done that twice lmao. I just went out to go eat buffet and drink alcohol in the bar. I was in my hotel room just watching anime and playing my video games most of time. Then again my confines of my accommodation is a huge fucking resort. The only time I went out of that place was when I got pulled for a road trip by the people I went with. I didn't want to go to with them but I'd look like an asshole if I didn't go with them for that day trip outside of the resort. Frankly it sucked, the locals kept trying scam us. I just wanted to relax but not in my house lmao. I wanted to wake up go to a buffet that's included and stuff my face and go to the bar and get drunk. I could do that at home but I'd have to cook and make my drinks myself. That resort I was treated like a king cause I was a good tipper so after the people at the buffet and bar got to know me, I got amazing service and priority than the ones that didn't tip.
The other time, it was a trip during my college years. I was stuck in the hotel room cause I was working on a college assignment on my laptop during the whole trip. I wanted to roam but at that time the programming class was a bitch and it was a big project.

If there was a button that allowed me to take a month long vacation but would force me to stay in the hotel for that month, I would NOT press it. I mean, it sounds tempting, but the option didn't say anything about the stay being covered. Most hotels charge by the month, and after that month you are looking at a bill that can reach over $100,000!
the question of "does money make you happy" is tricky, because having a shit ton of money comes with its set of problems mainly the isolation of your peers.

I'm not much younger than you, but I'd take the 1 mil in a heartbeat. Of course, I'm in very poor health, so I need that money so I can get old enough to die 10 years earlier. But in general, those last 10 years are pretty miserable anyway. I've seen too many grandparents wither away and die with dementia, arthritis, and generally not being able to take care of themselves. I'd rather not make it that far.
