Little off topic but the Warriors wore themselves out going for 73 wins. When the Bulls won 72, they were 66-6 at one point so they only went 6-4 the final ten games. The record at the time was 69 wins so they could easily afford to take their foot off the pedal and that allowed them to be more fresh for the playoffs were they went 15-3 while the Warriors went 15-9 and almost missed the Finals.
Yea it did, he literally added a turnaround jumper when his drive doesn’t work, and his post hook got better when he can’t back his defender under the basket
Okc's record got better in 12-13 without Harden. It came out recently when Harden was hitting up the clubs to get traded out of Houston that he was more concerned during the 2012 finals about hitting the Miami clubs than he was on the game and it showed in his play. Agree 100% with you. A lot has to do with the fact that Ryan played some time in Europe and knows how hard is to put those numbers (less playing time, more defense under the basket etc.). Others were just focusing on the numbers and didn’t understand the whole story.
What did Skip and crew huff some helium real quick? Lol
Some of the most disliked Analysts, with takes that aged beautifully!
-Ryan Hollins takes Luka as a number 1 pick, in the draft.
-Ryan also says Luka will be successful in the future.
-Ryan says, Giannis is overrated, because he has no jump shot and is stoppable.
-Skip predicts the Warriors will go 73-9 in the 2015-16 NBA season.
-Skip says OKC blew it, giving up James Harden
-Skip predicts Cavs would sweep Raptors in 2017
-Max and Paul Pierce predict, Toronto Raptors would beat the Golden State Warriors in 6 games.
**SKIP TWEETED (NOV 2015), Early on in that season the Warriors would go 73-9** twitter.com/RealSkipBayless/status/669585652896387072?s=20
You forgot the one where he said the 17 Warriors would destroy the 96 Bulls. The 2017 Warriors would destroy the 1996 Bulls if we are being honest.
@@thepeoplestightend1939 Destroy? in a 7 game series? Thats Michael fucking Jordan, i agree it'll be close because that Warriors team is stacked. But it's definitely going to 6 or 7 games
@@Jackson-mi3dr Yes, destroy. It's freaking Stephen Curry & Kevin Durant on the same team. Oh and on top of that, they just casually have two other all-stars by the names of Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. Oh on top of that, they just casually have an FMVP as THEIR SIXTH MAN!
@@Jackson-mi3dr Get outta, you are wild for thinking that this Bulls team will stand a chance against the Warriors. I'll give y'all a sympathy game at best. You'll either get swept or gentlemen's swept.
Giannis isn't overrated
Ryan Hollins has been killing it with the Rockets broadcast team. We love having him be a voice during the game
Ohh boy, Calling Giaanis overrated and stoppable has aged like milk
Holy fuck looking back Hollins is spot on with his 2018 Draft top 5 list. 😐
Like the saying goes.. A dead clock is right twice a day. That's Ryan Hollins 😂
That Giannis take only took a year from when the video dropped
Max is a good analyst, one of my favorites
He doesn’t deserve to be here 😂
Anyone here after Giannis dunked his way through the playoffs?
He didn't just dunk his way to a championship. He had multiple dimensions that got him there.
Dont forget Hollins also said he not sure about KD & Kyrie duo, he right about that too.
The absolute madman was 1 point away from guessing the correct point differential between Raptors and Warriors for game 6.
I don't consider Skip being right on the GS prediction.
He looked at a 60-6 team and said I guarantee they don't do worse than 13-3 to close the season?
Wowweee what a soothsayer 🤣
LMAOOOOO
He make a tweet about GSW Months before this takes that GSW will go 73-9, at the time the team was still 16-0.
You would think Ryan Hollins was the best NBA analyst ever if you havent watched his other takes. 😂
Unpopular opinion:
Ryan Hollins is a good analyst.
No wonder it's unpopular
this shit was trash delete
ESPN needs Ryan Hollins back. Every good show needs a bad guy
You won't find Kendrick Perkins here
Give him a Ryan Hollins a second chance somewhere. He gives either a meme or a spot on take so it's a win-win for everyone. Just do it.
Don’t all you mj fanboys always say, mj always gives a hundred percent lmao
No one cares
That giannis one didn't age too well
100% didn't now. Congrats to Giannis, he's an amazing generational player.
Yea it did, he literally added a turnaround jumper when his drive doesn’t work, and his post hook got better when he can’t back his defender under the basket
It did though he added those things to his game and they won a chip
Okc's record got better in 12-13 without Harden. It came out recently when Harden was hitting up the clubs to get traded out of Houston that he was more concerned during the 2012 finals about hitting the Miami clubs than he was on the game and it showed in his play.
Pat Bev took out Westbrook's knee that next playoffs.
Yup then KD injury to this foot...
Miami gameplan was to shut down harden in that final
Spot on with Luka, but Trae was nowhere to be seen on his mock board lol
The Max raptors take isnt fair tho, because he based it off of KD playing. Klay also was hurt in 2 losses so it wasnt that great a take
Ryan Hollins absolutely nailed that Luka take. Anyone who actually watched him w RM woulda known he'd be a generational superstar.
Considering Milwaukee winning this year's championship, I'd say Hollins's statement aged fine like wine. Compared to the 2018-2019 Giannis, he is a much better shot creator.
I'm convinced that anyone who didn't have Doncic as the top prospect in that draft never even watched him at Real Madrid. Man has always been a baller.
Word
2:13 did he say "where‘s james harden B*TCH?!"
For Max being the one to not know about basketball according to Stephen A. He the only one that knew knew Toronto would get that ship over the warriors
That Luka take was the most accurate shit I have ever seen from a prediction I never seen Stephen A smith or any of the big analyst make a prediction that great minus lebron but everyone knew he was going to be great so it wasn’t that difficult of a take
Everyone who watched Luka in Europe knew he was going to be great and they should listened Ryan Hollins who actually watched him every week and played against him. Funny thing though, there's one idiot from Serbia who played with Ayton on Arizona and said something like "Yeah, Luka is fine, but trust me, Ayton is something special and the next big thing in basketball".😂
3:55 the pitch of the audio makes him sound EXACTLY like Michael Scott😂😂😂
Who here after Giannis won a championship for just working hard…
😂 same
Right
And then got dogged out by the Heat this year....
Ryan was lucky, he played with luka, he saw what no other nba analyst did because they simply don’t care about european basketball, but still at that time saying luka should go number 1 was a hot take although everyone who had seen him play knew it was a no brainer so props to him i guess
I love this vid cuz these analysts take so much heat when they’re wrong and it impossible for them not to be wrong yet they get no love when they get things right. These guys know what they’re talking about just cuz they get stuff wrong too doesn’t take away from that. We couldn’t possibly predict everything either
Yeah I wanted to showcase the moments people don't mention. Them being right does happen and they should get their props for it imo.
In retrospect that Ryan Hollins take on Giannis is hot garbage
its insane that skip bayless actually predicted the warriors’ exact record
Ryan Hollis doesn’t bother me that much. Even when he’s very wrong I find him likable. Nick Wright makes me actively change the channel
Why do the speakers make the analysts sound like they have helium in them
probably protection against copyright strike or something idk
Never thought I would agree with Ryan Hollins.
7:05 all of Canada respects Max
The Warriors DID NOT need Kd to win the title. They only lost to the Raptor because Klay went down
I’m here after Giannis won the championship
Skip actually knows what’s he is talking about he just trolls
Why did max kellerman sound like he had the baby filter on
4:52 “they took a big step back”
ironic
Calling Giannis overrated has aged horribly
Still abysmal ft shooter
the fact that these are weekly shows and there’s only 8 minutes of them being right out of essentially ALL analysts
well... that Giannis point just went right out the window after these playoffs 🤣
The Giannis take was utter shite. He is still no shooter and is the best player in the world, and has been since last year.
Hollins also said to draft MPJ high in that clip
Before his injury MPJ was the number 1 prospect in his draft class
I mean, he saw Luka 1st hand, of course he knew he was gonna blow. He seem him cooking grown men up close
not a good excuse, it means hollins has insight for the game
