Totally agree. Makes me laugh with the current Covid situation as many RUclipsrs saying “I can’t wait to be allowed to go wild campaign again!”. Really, who’s going to give permission when it’s an illegal activity unless on permissioned land or Dartmoor (England only)! We got to be sensible and we don’t know how long that will be! 😕
Some nice clips in this video Ant, looking at your video now reminds me how wet and cold the late winter early spring was. How dry it is now in the early summer.
Looked a bit wet but you got out that's the main thing wish I had heard of this meet up. We will have to catch up when this is all over. And I have that problem with the sound and video not syncing so have to extract audio and move along 😁👍
Using the GoPro App and QUIK App does not have the function to tweak image and sound separately. Never had an issue with the sync until now. Hope all is well with you and family 👍🏻😉
yer..seem to trash ppl feet when they come out me..sorry bout that :) we didnt get to ivybridge in the end, we got to Holne, then a weather forcast predicted T/storms in the night so we called it there.most of my footage got trashed by all the audio disappearing..i need a new camera...Ive made some mods to the tent so works reqally good now...ATB WJ

LOL 😂 I think I may have them in an eating contest. Seriously, this walk/camp messed me up for a couple of weeks. I had to get my work to order me a special desk that I could work at standing up. I was taking way too many pain killers and was out of my face for a few days.
@@mountains_and_moors Guess we have to work on our fitness as the last time I did some miles I was hanging out of my backside......hence the weight loss drive!
Two vids in two days ! whats happening Ant lol ... apparently if you use non native batteries in your gopro it can cause lyp sync issues ? You need to up your cardio training to keep up with those boyos .. I like pies too atb Dave
Guessing it’s all about balancing the pie to walk/run/cycle ratio... clearly less pie more of the other. The office job and working long hours from home is not helping! Two more vids to come, my recent outing with Si in Tavy Cleve and the coffee tag too. ATB Ant 🤙🏻😉 As for the boyos, even super fit their 5 foot long legs would out pace me. Due to the wet mud trying to keep up meant I was sliding and jolting my back. I was out of action for about two weeks after!
Definitely a wet winter soon forgotten with the the current drought. I did a day hike on the west moors recent (need to edit the vid) and it was greener than i expected. Still found bogs n’ cotton grass, but that’s Dartmoor for you. ATB Ant 👍🏻😉

Those storms seem like a lifetime ago. I imagine Dartmoor is one big tinderbox now.
