OMG Ken!!! When that bass came in I started looking for the source of the sound, I'm like did they bring in a digeridoo or a throat singer? Then I realized it was Ken and nearly fell of my sofa! I have never heard a bass voice that strong in pop. In kpop, I can only think of EXO and BtoB that you can even hear the bassline in their harmonies but even they aren't as stable and rich sounding as Ken. Even Felix, I could be wrong as I haven't heard as many of Stray Kids ballad-y type songs but he doesn't really use that really deep base of his in harmonies as much as he does when it's his solo line and it's used to sound kinda menacing or tough. This knocked me off my feet. Ken already has one of my favourite voices of all time and this was just stunning.

I think Felix is roughly the same in range, however. I think Ken has a little bit more clarity and is further along in development. I think Felix could get there

Yess Ken has so much power in his bass, some of times his bass voice come out of nowhere shocking me because it's even so much louder than everyone 😅, and full of control. In the other side, eventho he is able to reach the range, his higher tone is not as strong as his bass
Yes! Whenever I watch or listen to music, I will try to silently mimic what they're doing to judge on how it's done and I can tell, he has much more power than most bass singers
This is their best version of Tilaluha to be honest. And yes, Ken's bass is very pronounced in this version. Stell's belt at the end is perfection and the most noticeable but reactors who have a good understanding of music always take note of Ken's bass. Of course the entire song is perfectly sung by all of them, the harmonization is out of this world.

Thank you for your RV..Tilaluha is one of my favorite songs in their ballad selection. I always enjoy watching them evolve through the years aa they perform. With Tilalauha, watching their performances at Wishbus, then other memorable ones are at the Forte charity concert where they performed with a live orchestra, and another one I enjoyed was the one they performed at the TM Pusuan love show. Every live performance is always like a fresh one with the added sbowmanship elements they render.
This song and "Hanggang sa Huli" have melodies that allows them to maximize and showcase their harmonizations. These songs have the OST type feel more then the new ballads they created , imho. Their new ballads are just as touching but the harmonizations do not feel as lengthy as the older ones.
I too replayed it a lot of times the first time i watched this. It was so amazing hearing them with those harmonies. Thank you for your reaction and hope we can also watch you and your mom's reaction to this song.

Not saying this because I'm an A'tin but because I really admire you for you perfectly know what you're saying. If I may add, I have also been a fan of IL Divo for a very long time. And yes, despite the difference in style of singing or genre, SB19 is on a par with them. I just want to suggest that you also react to their live performace of this song in #TM Pusuan: The Love Show. For me, that is more heartfelt and because they are sitting with the camera more focused on them, you could really feel their emotions and the message that the song is trying to convey. Stell did that belting part there as if there's no tomorrow. And for me, due to some changes in their parts, Ken performed better in that one. Im not sure if SteyVerified have an English subs of their audition episode I do recommend watching Stell as a coach in that show coz you can get a glimpse of his personality. In this show you'll get to watch them performed different songs along side with other Divas in PH (one is Regine Velasquez, you'll be familiar with her once you find their collab stage on the rival Sunday noontime Show, ASAP and their collab in WYAT Homecoming concert) If ever you want to check out other Pinoy artist that is "mainstream", SB19/Ppop is not as mainstream as the usual "OPM" artists The PH mainstream media is full of belters and balladeers, which you'll usually see in the noontime shows.
Since they were in the middle of covid lockdown and couldn't travel to perform in Korea, this was recorded in front of the fountain at the Cultural Center in the Philippines I believe. It was 2am and began to drizzle when they performed WHAT. They did that song in one take! This continues to be one of their best performances ever!

You know the answer to that is YES, there is something better than this As they make sure that the give a better performance than their last, and this is in Jan 2022. I totally agree with you that it’s the best of their harmonies. I think Casual Chuck even did one documentary where he used an app to remove the background music and only their raw voices are heard. Still perfect harmonies.
