  • Despite having a screen time appearance of barely two seconds it's the best prop in the movie (in my opinion). In this video, I'll show you the secrets of how I made my version of the interdimensional Abilisk scanner from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2. It may not be the most screen accurate replica in the world but I'm happy with what I achieved.

      Thanks. I didn't actually plan to make a video so to make up for the lack of progress pictures I padded it out with information I thought people might enjoy. Your video would have been extremely helpful to me had I seen it before making mine. Well done.

    Are those the actual headphones the Sony Walkman came with? I was looking at some of the prices for the original headphones and it was ridiculously expensive.

      Marvin Rivera sadly not, they're rarer than rocking horse poop around here. They are modified xcoser v2 replicas that have been painted to be more accurate. I used the back of a hair clip to make the metal bit that is coming out of the black resin part.

      You could extract the bleeps and sounds from this video but they aren't necessarily accurate from the film ruclips.net/video/3ArczaZDWTg/видео.html

      Thanks. This video has only a fraction the number of views as my blaster mod video when this time I actually put effort into scripting and producing it to a higher standard... aw well lol.

    Would you be willing to make one for someone If they paid you?

      A very kind offer but I am a dad now and sadly do not have the free time i used to have to make these sorts of props. Hopefully my video is helpful enough for you to learn how to do it yourself though. Good luck :)

      @MercifullUK  6 лет назад +1

      Emerald Slizer The Walkman is a genuine Sony Walkman TPS-L2 from around 1979-1989. It is not a replica.
