It was meant to happen, no one in the real fighting community wanted this, not only is terrible but it's harmful for the environment with their people and monetary practices.
Fighting game culture is not something you just slip into but rather get embraced by the consumers, players are loyal to their companies too. Is a circle of people cultivated for decades with traditions that will never be allowed to be tainted with whatever Riot is trying to do.
Blazblue Entropy Effect is more hyped and is not even a fighting game LMAO.

Skins look tight! I'm a little sad about training while queuing, I enjoyed talking to players after matches, seeing salt chat, sending emotes. Made the game feel more alive.

Being in the lobby will still be an option, but I imagine most players will be in training mode instead of the lobby. We'll see how it ends up feeling tho!

They didn't change parries they gave Darius the ability to delay the hit of his S1 (the hook) so that he can bait out people trying to parry it
Darius is receiving a Season 1 change that allows him to charge his apprehend, making it a parry bait technique. If successful, it does NOT allow you to convert into a full combo but leaves you plus.

@MaiKuroMakesthe hit doesn't occur until he pulls back. You can see him glow red when blitz parries, which means he's still charging and the hit box hasn't come out yet, thus the parry failed
