Bon jour, mes amis mates. Tres magnifique - this is what I'd expect to see from French enthusiasts, novel, neat and very intricately engineered models with a lot of good imagination employed. Tres bien. I particularly liked the cable car and that magnificent de Havilland 4 biplane. Thank you very much for a very enjoyable film - Vie la difference.
All the models I saw were built with "real" Meccano. Loads of imaginative models instead of the same-old same-old seen elsewhere, IMHO the Biplane deserved a prize. I am curious as to whether the digger was using "real" hydraulics or a ingenious substitutes. Thanks for a great video.
I imagtine is was using genuine hydraulics ; I've seen another, similar model in Cornwall, whose builder told me he used small medical syringes for the power, and polyurethene tubes - flying model plane type tubes for the rest. And I agree, that de Havilland 4 is a superb piece of work.

this is the type of complex structure i would expect meccano sell but they always go for simplistic structure even for adult :(
Because you need a vast number of parts to make them. These guys are geniuses
